The Thirteenth Floor (1999) was a great concept but the execution (the acting and dialogue) weren't the greatest - and this is coming from me, who watches and doesn't mind a lot of B movies. This one could really do with a modern remake. Simulation etc type stuff. I can just imagine this remade now, but so much better 😂

I have #FavoriteActors, and for the most part, they’re obvious choices: #BenedictCumberbatch, #VincentDONofrio, I loved the acting skills of #KevinSpacey, but he’s off my list. I just don’t like him anymore. Others. But I realized there’s an actor I like that just didn’t rise to the surface. He’s great and he deserves mention: #WilliamFichtner. This list is screwed up because at least half my favorite actors are female and I didn’t name names. I’ll post later so I don’t leave out important names.

i più sanguinari e violenti di tutti i gruppi criminali del film, che sono due veri e propri gangster di new york (uno dei quali è interpretato magistralmente da #Vincentdonofrio) ma vestiti da uomini religiosi

Sono figure rappresentate in modi quasi grotteschi e inquietanti, ma non come dileggio verso la religione, quanto per mostrare il cortocircuito e la contraddizione palese nel vivere secondo codici religiosi che vengono completamente distorti per giustificare azioni deplorevoli
