The player's ship is in orbit around the planet Delta Eri 1 - a habitable water world where the Smaugirian live. At the top and right side of this display area are the game control panels and information areas.

📚️ Open Realm of Stars is a 4X turn-based strategy game, libre and multi-platform, solo (3 levels of AI, building their empire and adapting to the opponent's game), on the theme of space conquest. The player explores the randomly generated galaxy, meets other species (16 races) that he confronts or with whom he negotiates peace and trade alliances with exchange of new technologies. The technological development (6 branches of 10 levels) gives access to better ships (it is also possible to steal them), to confront other races in space as well as on the ground, invading planets for their resources and production.

Blueprint of the town of Largos (5000 people). The second picture is Ehnaiton with 100 000 people. Comparing the hippodrome (they are the same size) gives a comparison in scale.

Used the "Demographics and Microeconomics of an Early Modern Fantasy City" to assign basically an inhabitant to each of the houses.

📚️ Retro Commander is a single-player / multi-player (co-op, LAN/online) post-apocalyptic real time wargame (RTS). In a world where a cataclysm has occurred on Mother Earth, the player faces the AI in solo (skirmishes and comic based story campaign), or in multi and co-op (other players / AI) to face other players in multi-platform matches with multiple objectives (elimination, survival, CTF, defense, battle royale) involving different factions (with their own technologies) and an arsenal of vehicles (tanks, jets, helicopters, airships, ships, submarines, ...). Games are analyzed (statistics) and players have an ELO rating. The game focuses on a fun single player game and an exciting multiplayer experience.

Spent Saturday running my Battle of Great Bridge #wargame demo on the site where the Culpeper Minutemen mustered 250 years ago. Despite using my very basic game system for this event, I still considered numerous other rules one might use to replay the battle.

@Fearteiler Das Spiel hatte ich auch auf einer Game-Night (Bibliothek) und wir waren ebenfalls zu viert. Gedauert hat es trotz zwei Erstspielenden 2:30h und soo solitär fand ich es nicht. Es ist aber nunmal ein Euro. Will man kontrontativ spielen, ist das halt die falsche Baustelle. Ich zerreisse ja auch kein #wargame, nur weil es mir zu aggressiv ist - das muss so, das weiß ich vorher.
Uns, als Euros, hat es recht gut gefallen und ich würde es wieder spielen, wenn auch nicht unbedingt kaufen.
