The West Point (WSPT) sewage treatment plant's 7 day running average of its detected Sars-CoV-2 levels went up a bit. The last calculation was made on 2/17.
WSPT is one of three King County(-ish) sewersheds in this dataset. You can find overviews, individual sewershed results, and a breakdown of variants for the state wastewater surveillance program, along with other metrics like case counts and hospitalizations for Covid-19 and other respiratory illnesses, at https://doh.wa.gov/data-and-statistical-reports/diseases-and-chronic-conditions/communicable-disease-surveillance-data/respiratory-illness-data-dashboard#WasteWater. Sunset Reflection at Lake Wenatchee
The sun started to slip behind the ridge.
The mountains went to shadow.
For a few minutes the reflection ran straight toward shore.
I felt grateful in that moment. The summer day had been full of swimming, kayaking, and slow walks along the shoreline. Standing there as the light faded felt like a quiet reward. I was just happy to be at the lake and able to enjoy all of it.

Washington state has some of the best protections for immigrants for all statuses in the nation. “Washington is a welcoming community that values immigrants’ and refugees’ contributions to our economy and our cultural fabric,” Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson said in a September news release. “While the federal government engages in cruel attacks on immigrant communities, we are taking action to protect the rights and interests of all Washingtonians.”
