How to use #WatercolourPencils

A spontaneous picture I did a few days ago. Watercolour pencils are my favourite medium, mostly because I know them the best and they don't take much time to use (at least not with my way of painting).

A photograph of a picture (very meta level, if you ask me). The picture is a watercolour illustration of a tower ruin at the edge of a forest that is overgrown with vines. It is painted in warm yellow and orange hues, the shadows show shades of dark red, purple and violet. The typical painting style of smudging the pencils with water gives only a hint of details, the rest is up to imagination.
The overall atmosphere is one of a warm autumn afternoon with sunny weather and a peaceful walk through nature.
