Back in 2022, I had heard of a waterfall that I wanted to explore. Actually coming upon it and seeing it with my own eyes for the first time was magical beyond words.

I'm sharing a picture of Carter Falls from the Wonderland Trail at Mt. Rainier National Park (Washington, US). It wasn't necessarily the most amazing falls we saw on our recent trip, but it took the most effort: a lot of elevation gain and having to cross this terrifying bridge there and back. 😂

A wide waterfall tumbles over jagged rocks into a shallow pool. On the near side of the pool, a crooked L shaped tree dominates the left side of the composition, sweeping in from the top left corner and bringing attention to the rocky foreground.

Seljalandsfoss is a well known waterfall located on the South Coast of Iceland, because it's one of those waterfalls that you can walk behind and get soaking wet. The waterfall drops from a height of 60 meters and is surrounded by cliffs, greenery and tour buses. #waterfallwednesday #waterfall #iceland
