That was like...the perfect walk. My u-shaped route *happened* to be exactly half way, therefore got exactly 1 hour in, AND if I had stayed out any longer, I'd have wet myself so... Perfect!

This is a watercolor landscape painting in portrait orientation in a Bella Classica Art Journal with Arches Coldpress watercolor paper. The sky is a light blue with some clouds. At the sky line there are some distance hills and farm land (in pale blue and light dull greens) with a swash of vibrant yellow topped field. Then a stretch of lawn with shadows from the surrounding trees. The foreground from the top draping down to the lawn are various lengths of willow branches that frame the painting.

je suis parti faire des courses et pour m'aérer je suis allé dans le parc d'à côté le supermarché qui est un endroit que j'adore.

Je n'avais pas prévu de faire des photos mais les jardiniers avaient dégagé cette vue.

Heureusement j'ai toujours mon compact lumix lx15 sur moi depuis le temps que je voulais prendre ce point de vue.

La dynamique était monstrueuse j'ai utilise le bracketing pour prendre 5 images à des expositions différentes que j'ai ré rassemblées ensuite pour récupérer toute la subtilité des couleurs et des tons dans les ombres et les hautes lumieres.

Ci cela vous dit une image noir et blanc prise avec cette meme technique et retravaillée ainsi de façon dramatique, dans l'esprit Salgado mais en un milliard de fois moins bien car moi encore vieux jeune paddwan, dites le moi en commentaire.

Exploring spring through a different spectrum 🌿📷

On a recent trip to Klamath Falls, Oregon, I tested a 720nm infrared filter on my full-spectrum camera. This shot captures a weeping willow just leafing out beside an old barn. Thanks to the high chlorophyll content and strong afternoon light, the tree lit up beautifully in infrared. Post-processing brought the sky back to a familiar blue by channel-swapping red and blue, giving this dreamy, otherworldly result.

Infrared truly reveals a hidden side of nature — especially in spring.
