CW posts about politics, grim posts about mental health or abuse, or #NSFW. This is just basic courtesy. Your posts are going to reach beyond your followers. Saying "hurr-hurr all my posts are political" isn't good enough.
Use #hashtags. If you weren't on Bluesky, you were skeeting wrong, but it's even more important here. There's no algorithm. Hashtags are powerful tools that let people find the stuff they're interested in. It helps your posts find the audience you're looking for.
Use #AltText for all of your images and gifs. All of them. A brief description is sufficient. Not using alt text doesn't preserve artistic integrity. It just means you're lazy, a jerk, or both.
