Hamas, Islamic Jihad Hail Prisoner Release

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, congratulated the newly freed Palestinian prisoners and their families, describing their liberation from the Zionist regime’s prisons as a “bright national milestone” in the ongoing struggle for freedom and independence.

In a statement issued on Monday, Hamas said that Operation Flood of the Free represented a historic national achievement that reflects the unity of the Palestinian people and reaffirms that adherence to resistance and national rights remains the only path toward liberation, return, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The movement added that the scenes of joy among the families of freed prisoners across Gaza and the occupied West Bank filled hearts and streets alike, despite the pain and wounds left by war. Hamas described this collective celebration as “a testament to the strength and resilience of our people, unbroken by the crimes of the enemy.”

Hamas stressed that Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his “extremist gang,” including Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, could not “strip our people of their joy in the resistance’s achievement through the Flood of the Free, which was baptized in blood and sacrifice, shattered their arrogance, and foiled their schemes.” The statement described the event as a key milestone in the continuous journey toward full liberation.

Zionist regime violated prisoners, Resistance respected them

The movement also revealed testimonies from the released prisoners, who described “two years of the most brutal forms of physical and psychological torture,” calling their ordeal “a reflection of the occupation’s sadism and modern-day fascism.”

Hamas held international human rights and humanitarian organizations accountable for these crimes, urging immediate action to end the systematic violations against Palestinian prisoners and to guarantee their freedom.

The statement emphasized that the Palestinian Resistance has treated Zionist captives “in accordance with its Islamic, national, and humanitarian values, safeguarding their lives despite the risks,” while the occupation continues to “humiliate and torture our heroic prisoners every day.”

Concluding its statement, Hamas said the resistance “fulfilled its promise to our free prisoners, a pledge of loyalty to their sacrifices and struggle, and the liberation of detainees from the enemy’s prisons will remain at the heart of its national priorities.”

2,000 prisoners released

Palestine’s Prisoners’ Information Office confirmed that the first of 38 buses carrying Palestinian detainees from Gaza has departed en route to the Strip, marking a significant phase in the large-scale exchange deal underway as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

According to the media director of the Prisoners’ Affairs Office, several detainees who have spent decades behind bars are among those being freed. A total of 154 prisoners will travel abroad, while others will return to their homes in the West Bank, occupied al-Quds, and Gaza.

The director noted that the occupation attempted to evade its obligations under the agreement, as it has in previous deals. However, the Palestinian Resistance insisted on confirming the agreed-upon names, including long-term detainees and those captured from Gaza. “We made improvements to the list of prisoners, especially those detained from the Gaza Strip,” it added.

In Khan Younis, large crowds gathered to welcome the liberated detainees, with flags of Hamas and Islamic Jihad raised in celebration. Meanwhile, in the West Bank, buses carrying released detainees arrived in Ramallah, where people assembled at the Ramallah Cultural Palace to greet them.

Hamas: Regime forced to accept Resistance’s conditions

On another note, in a statement on Monday, Hamas highlighted the failure of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the occupation military, after two years of a brutal war of extermination, to forcibly recover their captives. Hamas stressed that the occupation was ultimately forced to accept the resistance’s conditions, reiterating that the only path to returning their soldiers was through a negotiated exchange and a complete halt to the aggression.

The movement emphasized that the resistance made every effort to preserve the lives of the captives, despite ongoing attempts by what it described as the “war criminal Netanyahu and his terrorist army” to target and eliminate them. In contrast, the statement pointed out that Palestinian detainees in Zionist jails are subjected to systematic abuse, torture, and murder.

Hamas further stated that the liberation of its “heroic detainees,” many of whom are serving life or long-term sentences and have spent decades behind bars, is the result of the Gaza Strip’s resilience and the bravery of the Resistance.

Islamic Jihad affirms liberation of prisoners possible due to resistance

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ziad al-Nakhala, affirmed that the recent prisoner exchange deal, which saw the release of almost 2,000 Palestinian detainees, “would not have been possible without the men of the resistance and the bravery of the fighters in the field, and without the unity of the Palestinian people behind their resistance.”

Al-Nakhala acknowledged that while “we had hoped for better results,” the Palestinian people understand the complex balance of power and the challenging circumstances that have specifically impacted the population in Gaza.

He stressed that “the banners of resistance remain high and unbroken, the resistance remains on the ground, and our people remain proud and dignified, clinging to their resistance,” reaffirming that the liberation of the remaining prisoners remains a top priority for the resistance.

Al-Qassam: Occupation failed to win by force

Meanwhile, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Sunday morning that the occupation had “failed to recover its captives through military pressure, despite its intelligence superiority and excess power.” The Brigades stated that the occupation is now submitting to an exchange deal, “as promised by the resistance from the beginning.”

Al-Qassam emphasized that the Palestinian resistance has consistently sought to halt the genocide since the early stages of the war. However, according to the statement, the occupation “thwarted all efforts for its own narrow interests and to satisfy the instincts of brutality and revenge of its Nazi government.”

Al-Nasser Brigades: Netanyahu conceded after military failure

Similarly, a spokesperson for the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades stated that the head of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, had failed after two years of war, ethnic cleansing, and military campaigns to retrieve captured soldiers or achieve their release through force.

The spokesperson confirmed that Netanyahu ultimately submitted to the resistance’s conditions. These conditions stipulated that any recovery of captives would only come through a prisoner exchange deal that includes an end to the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Life in Gaza may go from utter hell to mere nightmare. What happens now?

It took an American president unbound by traditional domestic constraints to get this done and provide the parties with what they could accept

Opinion - Hussein Agha and Robert Malley

Donald #Trump’s peace plan for #Gaza demands atonement from #Palestinians for the horrific acts of 7 October, not from Israel for the barbarity that followed. It calls for Gaza’s deradicalization but not an end to #Israel’s messianism. It micromanages the future of Palestinian governance while saying nothing about the future of Israel’s occupation.

It is riddled with ambiguities, devoid of timetables, arbiters or consequences for inevitable eventual violations.

'Heart Of A Protest': An Indian-Led Documentary That Captured The UK's Palestine Marches

Made by Indians, Heart of a Protest documents the Palestine Solidarity marches in London and turns the lens on protest, and the responsibility of those who watch.

This question became the guiding principle behind ‘Heart of a Protest’, a zero-budget documentary made in the #UK that captures the #Palestine Solidarity Campaign National Marches held across London. In a conversation with #Homegrown, Ishika Seal, who conceptualized the film, reflects on the power of protest: “It has always been civil disobedience; it has been people taking to the streets that have driven movements forward. Documenting and creating solidarity isn’t just an abstract idea — it exists in the everyday acts that give meaning to life.”

#US President Donald #Trump threatened to “disarm” #Hamas as the fragile ceasefire he brokered in #Gaza came under pressure on Tuesday after #Israel slashed aid entering the enclave by half.

Less than one day has passed since Trump took a victory lap welcoming the peace deal during a whirlwind #MiddleEast trip.

But speaking at the White House on Tuesday, Trump appeared to express frustration that Hamas had reasserted itself in Gaza with armed security forces.

Israel said the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt would remain closed through Wednesday.

Al Qassam and Hamas Issue Statements on Prisoner Swap

Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades:

What has been reached in terms of an agreement is the fruit of the steadfastness of our people and the resilience of its fighters, and we announce our commitment to the agreement reached and the associated timelines, provided that the occupation adheres to it.

The resistance has always been keen to stop the war of genocide and has sought to do so since the first months, but the enemy thwarted all efforts due to its narrow calculations and to satisfy the instinct of brutality and revenge of its Nazi government.

The enemy failed to recover its prisoners through military pressure, despite its intelligence superiority and the surplus of power it possesses, and here it is submitting and recovering its prisoners through an exchange deal, as the resistance promised from the beginning.

The Nazi occupation could have recovered most of its prisoners alive many months ago, but it continued to stall and act arrogantly, preferring that its army kill dozens of them as a result of the failed military pressure policy.

To our free prisoners: Gaza and its resistance have offered the most precious things they possess and have strived to the utmost of their ability to break your chains, and we pledge that your cause will remain at the top of our national priorities until you all achieve your freedom.

Hamas

The liberation of our heroic prisoners, including those serving life sentences and long-term sentences who have spent many decades behind bars, is the fruit of the heroism and steadfastness of our great people in the Gaza Strip, and its sons in the valiant resistance. It is a pledge from the resistance to its people and prisoners, and a manifestation of the unbreakable will for liberation in the face of the brutality of the new Nazis.

Netanyahu and his army did not succeed over two years of the war of extermination and destruction in liberating their prisoners by force, and ultimately had to yield to the resistance’s conditions, which affirmed that the return of their captive soldiers can only be through a prisoner exchange deal and the end of the war of extermination.

The resistance exerted every effort to preserve the lives of the occupation prisoners, despite the attempts of the war criminal Netanyahu and his terrorist army to target and eliminate them, at a time when our prisoners in the occupation prisons are subjected to all forms of violations including abuse, torture, and killing.

The issue of prisoners will remain at the top of the national priorities for our people and resistance, and our Palestinian people will not find peace until the last prisoner is liberated from the prisons of the new Nazis, and the occupation is removed from our land and holy sites.

From Haiti to Gaza: The Universality Written in Blood

Frantz Fanon once said that colonialism does not stop at convincing you that you are a slave, it also convinces you that you are unworthy of freedom. In the case of exterminationist Zionism, where colonial philosophy turns into a doctrine of ethnic cleansing and annihilation, you are not only unworthy of freedom, you are unworthy of life itself.

Religious fascism has been transformed from an individual belief into an official state ideology, from rhetoric into chariots thundering through history. Chariots that have been saturated with myths and blood of victims, proclaiming that freedom is not a destiny but a crime, and that the Palestinian is not a human being, but an excess to be erased. From the ashes of slavery that ignited the Haitian Revolution to the embers of Gaza, the same question keeps resurfacing unanswered: What kind of freedom is this, granted to some and denied to others?

That is why Gaza is being erased, time and time again. As if the invader is never content with killing the body once, but returns to mutilate it repeatedly, just like a savage cowboy emptying his bullets into a corpse to ensure its obliteration. In the scriptures of old colonialism, the chariot was a mark of power and awe. Today, it is the same mechanical face that crushes cities and villages, grinding bodies into dust. Gideon’s Chariots have not vanished, they have merely taken a form of modern tanks. The expansionist state draws inspiration from ancient texts, executing its plans with contemporary instruments of annihilation.

What changed is not the essence of the chariot, but the scope of its function. It is no longer just a weapon of war, but a symbol of an exterminatory philosophy that insists freedom is never granted, and life itself is subject to confiscation. Houses are destroyed, rebuilt, then destroyed again. Streets wiped from the map, neighborhoods besieged, it is as if time has become a closed loop of devastation. A loop revealing the profound colonial desire to kill the city, not merely geographically, but as a memory, a meaning, and an existence. And each time Gaza rises from beneath the rubble, the killer discovers that the body he sought to obliterate is still breathing.

From this open wound, from these recurring visitations from merchants of death, Gaza emerges today as a living embodiment of the human rights paradox. The West, which raises banners of freedom and equality, colludes in the destruction of an entire city, just as it once colluded in the extermination of the slaves who rose up in Saint-Domingue. From the ashes of Haiti to the embers of Gaza, the question persists: is freedom a right for all, or a privilege granted to some and denied to others?

When Enlightenment philosophers proclaimed human rights as natural and universal, it seemed as though humanity was entering a new chapter in history. When the French Revolution raised its famous triad “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity,” many believed humankind had transcended the ages of discrimination and slavery. Yet history soon revealed that this universality was nothing more than a discourse reserved for the European center, excluding the peripheries. The liberty sung by Voltaire and Rousseau did not include African slaves in the Caribbean, or the colonized peoples in Asia and Africa, nor Indigenous populations in the Americas. The rhetoric was universal in language, but imperial in practice.

Today, the same contradiction is repeated in Palestine. How can those who call, morning and night, for recognition of a Palestinian state, simultaneously tolerate the destruction of its cities, the isolation of its villages, and the dispersal of its people? What kind of a state can rise from ashes and rubble, and what meaning can recognition have amid ethnic cleansing?

Haiti was the first to expose the falsehood of this rhetoric. In the late eighteenth century, Saint-Domingue was France’s richest colony and one of Europe’s main sources of sugar. But its wealth was built on the sweat and blood of half a million African slaves, living under conditions akin to a human grinding machine. In 1791, a slave uprising erupted, an event unimaginable to the European mind which considered Black people incapable of thought and organization. Yet, under leaders such as Toussaint Louverture, the uprising transformed into a social and military revolution that defeated the armies of France, Spain, and Britain alike, leading in 1804 to the declaration of the world’s first Black republic and the abolition of slavery by force of arms, not by decrees handed down from above.

In this way, the Haitians carried the slogans of the French Revolution from the realm of rhetoric into practice. They simply said: if liberty is a universal right, then it includes us too. In doing so, they inaugurated a new conception of freedom, not as a gift bestowed by enlightened elites, but as a right seized through struggle. Yet the colonial powers could not tolerate this upheaval. France imposed crushing “reparations” in exchange for recognizing Haiti’s independence, while the United States and Europe enforced a long political and economic blockade, a collective punishment and a deterrent message to the enslaved elsewhere: Whoever dares to seize his freedom will pay with blood.

The Haitian example has haunted the Western conscience and philosophical practices ever since. Historian Michel-Rolph Trouillot described the Haitian Revolution as an “unthinkable event” in the Western imagination, for it shattered the hierarchy that placed the white man as master and the Black man as slave. Susan Buck-Morss, meanwhile, linked the Haitian Revolution to Hegel’s master-slave dialectic, showing that freedom is not an abstract idea but a practice born out of bloody struggle between oppressor and oppressed.

Today, more than two centuries later, the same contradiction returns in Gaza. For over seventeen years, two million people have lived under a total siege that deprives them of the most basic conditions for life. Repeated wars, most recently the genocidal assault launched in 2023, have turned Gaza into a modern example of international law violation in its most brutal forms: bombing hospitals and schools, systematic starvation, deprivation of water, medicine, and electricity. And while the West raises the banner of human rights high in its discourse, it turns a blind eye to this catastrophe, feeding the genocide with weapons and political cover.

Yet again, the paradox is that Gaza, just like Haiti, is writing an alternative universality. It reminds the world that the besieged Palestinian is not merely a “humanitarian case” but a full human being with dignity, and that true universality is not forged in centers of power but born from the resistance of the enslaved.

What links Haiti to Gaza is a single, an unbroken line exposing the contradiction between a rhetoric of liberty and a practice of exclusion. The Black slaves, deemed “unhuman,” were the ones who forced the world to acknowledge their humanity. The Palestinians, consigned to exist outside of history, impose their presence on the world’s conscience through steadfastness. In both cases, humanity expanded only because of those deemed unworthy of it.

Culture plays a central role here. The Haitian Revolution lived not only in history books, but in Caribbean literature, through Aimé Césaire and others, who made it a symbol of Black liberation and the emancipation of marginalized peoples. Palestinians, in turn, have shaped through Mahmoud Darwish, Ghassan Kanafani, and others a poetic and narrative memory of Gaza and Palestine. They have turned tragedy into a part of the world’s consciousness instead of a fleeting political headline. Literature and art transform the wound into testimony, giving victims a voice that transcends the silence imposed upon them.

Thus, the universality of human rights is an ongoing battlefield. On one hand, there is a universality crafted by imperial centers to justify their domination, and on the other, there is a universality born from the struggles of the dispossessed, to affirm their right to exist. The former is governed by the language of institutions, the latter is written in blood, memory, and resilience.

What links Haiti to Gaza is that freedom is never granted, it’s always seized. True universality is not written in the statements of organizations and international conferences, but in what the enslaved force onto history through their struggle. Just as Haiti forced the world to recognize the Black slave’s humanity, Gaza will force the world to recognize that of the oppressed Palestinian. Freedom is either for all, or for none.

In southern #Lebanon, #Israeli forces may no longer occupy towns on foot—but for residents, the war continues overhead and from the nearby hilltops.

Daily drone patrols hover above villages, launching strikes with no warning. Snipers stationed on Israeli-held hilltops train their sights on roads, rooftops and fields.

In September, an Israeli drone strike in Bint Jbeil killed five civilians, including three children. The victims were traveling by car through a residential neighborhood when the missile hit.

Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the PFLP Address the Public

O our noble Palestinian people:

In light of the announcement of the first phase of the agreement to stop and end the war of genocide, and the marathon negotiations that the factions undertook to reach this national achievement, the three powers extend a salute of honor and reverence to the masses of our great people, especially our people in the Gaza Strip, who faced the most heinous zionist crimes with legendary steadfastness and resolve.

We also salute all the martyrs and prisoners, their families, the families of the missing, and every child, girl, mother, young man, elder, and displaced person who stood firm on their land despite the tragedies, genocide, starvation, massacres, the suffering of displacement, and the agonies of living amidst the destruction of the basics of daily life. We affirm that their steadfastness is a living symbol of our people’s will and unbreakable determination, and proof that their will is stronger than any zionist machine of destruction.

The resilience of the resistance fighters and all our people—including medical, ambulance, and civil defense crews, journalists, the displaced, and others—has thwarted the plans for displacement and uprooting and has recorded an immortal lesson in steadfastness and defiance that will remain engraved on the brightest pages of Palestinian history. The awe-inspiring scenes of our displaced people returning to Gaza City and the massive gatherings in its streets, camps, and destroyed alleys are but an embodiment of the will of a people who reject forced migration and insist on returning and living on their land despite the immense destruction.

We also praise the heroism of the resistance, which stood tall and proud amidst the rubble, withstood the destructive machine of the occupation, broke the enemy’s morale, and inflicted heavy losses upon it through its specific operations. This confirms that the will of our people and the heroes of the resistance is stronger than all attempts at oppression and destruction, and that the enemy, for over two years, could not break the steadfastness and will of this resistance, despite all the weapons and the massive, lethal war machine it possesses.

The three powers also extend a salute of pride and honor to the support fronts in Yemen, Lebanon, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Iraq, who stood by our people and their resistance and offered martyrs on the path to Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa.

The three powers also express their deep appreciation for the tremendous efforts made by the brotherly mediators (Egypt, Qatar, Turkey) and all who supported this path, calling on the American side and all mediators to continue applying pressure to ensure the occupation’s commitment to all clauses of the agreement and to prevent any deviation from them in the slightest.

We highly value the unprecedented global solidarity movement that stood by our people, raising its voice to reject the genocide and to prosecute the occupation’s crimes. We affirm that the solidarity of free peoples with Palestine and Gaza is a powerful message that our people’s cause is a global political and humanitarian issue. This global support represents a significant moral boost for our resisting people and confirms that the occupation is a rogue entity that has become isolated and besieged, a state which must be increased and escalated.

The powers clarify that, despite the occupation’s persistent attempts to derail the negotiation process and obstruct the agreement, and Netanyahu’s efforts to prolong the war and quash any chance to stop the aggression, the Palestinian negotiating delegation kept the demands of our people to stop the war of genocide at the forefront of its concerns. It has so far reached an agreement to implement the first phase of this path, which is a fundamental step toward our people’s urgent demand: the final cessation of the criminal war, an end to the aggression on Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation, and the lifting of the siege.

What we have achieved represents a political and security failure for the occupation’s plans and a shattering of its goals to impose displacement and uprooting. It is a partial achievement in ending the suffering of our people and freeing hundreds of our heroic female and male prisoners from the occupation’s jails, in a step that expresses the strength of the resistance, the unity of the national position, and our people’s insistence on achieving their freedom and dignity.

When we engaged in this negotiation process amidst a war of genocide, our eyes were fixed on the suffering of our people, who are facing unprecedented horrors of killing, destruction, genocide, and starvation. We acted with the highest sense of national responsibility, despite the level of bias in favor of the occupier, in order to open a new horizon for life in Gaza and for our steadfast people rooted there. The negotiation path and the mechanism for implementing the agreement still require high national vigilance and precise, around-the-clock follow-up to ensure the success of this phase. We will continue to work with high responsibility with the mediators to ensure the occupation is bound to what protects our people’s rights and ends their suffering.

We have made great and strenuous efforts to release all female and male prisoners and the leaders of the national prisoners’ movement. However, the occupation, as is its habit, thwarted the release of a significant number of them.

Despite this, we chose to proceed with implementing the agreement to ensure the halt of the war of genocide against our people and to prevent the enemy from continuing its collective extermination. We pledge to our people and the families of the prisoners that the issue of freeing all of them will remain at the top of our national priorities, and we will never abandon them. We also congratulate our people on the freedom of this blessed group of our prisoners and heroes.

Our steadfast people, This stage represents an opportunity to enhance social solidarity within the Gaza Strip by supporting affected families, securing the necessities of daily life, and activating frameworks of cooperation between factions, society, and relevant local and international institutions, creating a resilient and unified environment capable of facing all challenges and preserving our people’s steadfastness.

We renew the call for unity and national responsibility, to embark on a unified national political path with all powers and factions. We are working in cooperation with gracious Egyptian efforts to hold an urgent and comprehensive national meeting for the next step after the ceasefire to unify the Palestinian position, formulate a comprehensive national strategy, and rebuild our national institutions on the foundations of partnership, credibility, and transparency.

We also stress our categorical rejection of any foreign guardianship and affirm that determining the form of governance for the Gaza Strip and the foundations of its institutions’ work is an internal Palestinian matter to be jointly decided by the national components of our people. We are prepared to benefit from Arab and international participation in the areas of reconstruction, recovery, and development support, in a way that promotes a dignified life for our people and preserves their rights to their land.

In conclusion, at this decisive historical moment, we renew our loyalty to the martyrs, prisoners, wounded, and resistance fighters. We affirm our unwavering adherence to our people’s rights to their land, homeland, holy sites, and dignity, and our insistence on continuing the resistance in all its forms until all our rights are achieved, foremost among them the removal of the occupation, self-determination, and the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

‘Arm yourself’: Israeli right decries Gaza deal as Smotrich says war not over

Israeli settler leaders urge #Netanyahu to attack Gaza again as soon as the captives are freed

Though the #Gaza ceasefire deal has prompted celebrations in Israel in anticipation that the remaining captives will soon be released, discontent is rumbling among the powerful Israeli right wing, with Finance Minister #BezalelSmotrich insisting the war is not over.

The Israeli religious right, most prominently represented by Smotrich and National Security Minister #ItamarBenGvir, have for two years pushed for a total takeover of the Gaza Strip, including illegal #Jewish settlement there, and fought against previous ceasefire deals.

Palestinian Resistance Factions Release Statements on Ceasefire Agreement

Hamas:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Following responsible and serious negotiations conducted by the Movement and the Palestinian resistance factions regarding President Trump’s proposal in Sharm El Sheikh, aimed at achieving a halt to the war of extermination against our Palestinian people and the withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip; the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announces reaching an agreement that stipulates ending the war on Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation from it, the entry of aid, and the exchange of prisoners.

We highly appreciate the efforts of the mediating brothers in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and we also value the efforts of US President Donald Trump aimed at permanently stopping the war and the complete withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip.

We call upon President Trump, the guarantor states of the agreement, and various Arab, Islamic, and international parties, to compel the occupation government to fully implement the requirements of the agreement, and not allow it to evade or procrastinate in applying what has been agreed upon.

We salute our great people in the Gaza Strip, in Al-Quds and the West Bank, and inside and outside the homeland, who recorded unparalleled positions of glory, heroism, and honor, and confronted the fascist occupation projects that targeted them and their national rights; these great sacrifices and stances thwarted the plans of the “israeli” occupation for subjugation and displacement.

We affirm that the sacrifices of our people will not be in vain, and that we will remain faithful to the covenant, and will not abandon our people’s national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine:

The ceasefire agreement is a first step toward ending the genocide, and the steadfastness of our people and their valiant resistance broke the zionist war machine and imposed the agreement.

The achievement of a ceasefire agreement and the start of implementing its first phase is considered an important accomplishment and a first step on a long road toward ending the suffering of our people. The time has come for the genocide to stop. This is the fruit of the legendary steadfastness demonstrated by Gaza and our Palestinian people, the immense sacrifices of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, and the resilience of the valiant resistance that confronted the aggression until the last moment.

We extend a salute of pride and honor to our people in the homeland and the diaspora, and to our martyrs, wounded, prisoners, and missing persons, who embodied the finest examples of sacrifice and steadfastness. Our people have endured what no other people have endured, and despite the destruction, massacres, and starvation, the occupation failed to achieve its goals and reaped nothing but disappointment, shame, and isolation.

Since the start of the aggression until the moment the agreement was signed, the Front has continued its efforts without pause, coordinating with all Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic forces, in order to reach this moment when the zionist war machine stops. The Front will remain alongside our people during this difficult and pivotal stage of their history, continuing its role in supporting their steadfastness and struggle until their national goals are achieved.

We highly value the efforts of the brothers in Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and all other Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the positions and actions of the free nations and peoples of the world who rejected the continuation of the massacres and sought to stop them, whose efforts contributed to reaching this agreement. We particularly appreciate Egypt’s firm stance rejecting displacement and supporting the steadfastness of our people on their land.

The current agreement broke the zionist ‘noes’ and goals. It is the possible option under the current circumstances, and its success is linked to the occupation’s commitment and clear American guarantees that prevent procrastination. Our goal now is to continue working to end the war of genocide definitively, achieve a comprehensive withdrawal from the Strip, break the siege, and end the suffering of our people.

We are working with all factions, under Egyptian auspices, toward a comprehensive national dialogue that opens a new horizon for building a unified strategy based on the constants and historical rights of our people to confront the next stage, and to rebuild our national institutions on the basis of partnership to face all challenges.

We reject foreign guardianship and affirm that the administration of Gaza must be purely Palestinian, with Arab and international participation in reconstruction and recovery.

The world today stands by us and supports our right to freedom and self-determination. Global action and the pursuit of the occupation and its leaders must continue even after reaching a ceasefire agreement, so that Palestine remains alive in the conscience of the world until the occupation is removed.

Popular Resistance Committees:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The agreement reached through the efforts of the Egyptian, Qatari, and Turkish mediators and brothers to stop the aggression, the holocaust, and the zionist genocide in the Gaza Strip came as a fruit and result of the legendary steadfastness of Gaza and its resisting people and their great sacrifices after two years of aggression.

The unified stance and response of the resistance factions, and their refusal to submit to the equation of genocide or surrender, foiled all the plans of the zionist enemy. Despite the atrocity of the crimes, the horror of the destruction, and the humanitarian tragedy, the enemy and those who support it failed to uproot our people and displace them from their land, and our people remained steadfast and stationed on their land.

We call for the continuation of all Arab, Islamic, and international pressure tools on the American administration and the zionist entity to ensure the implementation of the agreement in all its stages, leading to the complete withdrawal of the zionist army from the Gaza Strip.

With great pride, we salute the heroic martyrs of our people, the unarmed civilians, leaders, and fighters, in Gaza, the West Bank, and all arenas of confrontation and support in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, who offered the purest blood and dearest souls for the sake of our people and our cause. We salute our prisoners and wounded, and we affirm to them all that their sacrifices will remain immortal and present in the conscience, minds, and hearts of the sons of the nation and the free people of the world, serving as an inexhaustible source of pride, glory, and inspiration.

Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine:

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine congratulated our people everywhere, especially in the steadfast Gaza Strip, on achieving a ceasefire within the framework of the ongoing negotiations. At the same time, the Democratic Front warned against the malicious intentions of the “israeli” side, and called on mediators to work to thwart any “israeli” attempts to circumvent the decision and betray our people, similar to the treacherous stance taken by the “israeli” fascist government on 2/3/2024.

The Democratic Front affirmed its confidence that the “israeli” side’s submission to the ceasefire decision in the Strip would not have happened were it not for the legendary steadfastness of our people, their resilience, cohesion, and rejection of all calls for surrender and submission.

The Democratic Front considered the ceasefire an important step towards stopping the war and imposing the complete withdrawal of the “israeli” enemy, and beginning the healing of wounds, including opening the crossings and providing immediate, unconditional supplies to the Strip of all vital, living, and humanitarian necessities and needs, and providing the conditions for launching a reconstruction project for the Strip in cooperation with sisterly Egypt and the rest of the Arab countries.

In the same context, the Democratic Front stressed the necessity of confronting the second chapter of the Trump plan with a unified Palestinian national stance that thwarts all projects aimed at separating the Strip from the West Bank, and dissipating its national identity and great sacrifices made during two years of steadfastness and confrontation. This requires an urgent call for a comprehensive Palestinian national dialogue, including the Secretaries-General, members of the Executive Committee, the Presidency of the National Council, and national figures, to agree on a unified national plan for confrontation in the next phase, and to form a unified Palestinian delegation for negotiations similar to 2014, which would enable the achievement of the desired goals that guarantee the unity of the land of the State of Palestine, thwart the mandatory alternatives, and simultaneously guarantee the legitimate national rights of our people to freedom, independence, and the right of return within the framework of the PLO, the sole legitimate representative of our people.

Mujahideen Movement:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The achievement of the ceasefire and the exchange of prisoners with the enemy is the fruit of the steadfastness, patience, and sacrifices of our proud Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who thwarted the plans for displacement and the liquidation of the cause, and stood firm against two years of genocide and ethnic cleansing crimes.

We commend the bravery and sacrifices of the resistance factions who stood firm and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, defending their people and their cause. Their struggle and the steadfastness of our people were an essential pillar in achieving this agreement, by the grace of God.

While we praise the efforts of the mediators (Egypt, Turkey, Qatar) to achieve the agreement, we call upon the mediators and guarantors to compel the enemy to adhere to the terms of the agreement, as it is accustomed to procrastination and breaking covenants.

In these historical moments, we remember the righteous martyrs of our people and their leaders who ascended in this battle and who played a prominent role in the steadfastness of our people and the achievement of this agreement.

Mercy for our righteous martyrs, healing for our wounded, and freedom for all our brave prisoners.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The agreement reached on a ceasefire and prisoner exchange with the zionist enemy was not a gift from anyone. Although we do not deny the Arab and international efforts, we emphasize the immense sacrifices made by our Palestinian people, and the courage and valor of their fighters in the field who confronted the enemy forces and showed unprecedented bravery in combat; without this, the resistance would not have been able to stand as a strong equal at the negotiating table.

In these historical moments, our people will not forget their great martyrs who played the most important role in keeping the resistance steadfast and reaching this crucial juncture where it could conclude the agreed-upon terms to force the enemy to halt the aggression.

Glory to all the martyrs, and victory to our people.

Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine. Thursday, 17 Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH, October 9, 2025 AD.

Fatah Al-Intifada:

The first-phase agreement reached regarding the ceasefire and the process of exchanging prisoners and detainees constitutes a victory for the valiant Palestinian resistance and the patient, steadfast Palestinian people, despite the bloodshed and destruction witnessed during the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by the zionist occupation, which has resulted in seventy thousand martyrs, one hundred thousand wounded, and hundreds of prisoners and detainees.

What the leadership of the Hamas movement and the resistance factions have achieved, despite attempts at deception, misinformation, and malicious maneuvers, is a shining testament to credibility, steadfastness, diligence, and national responsibility, stemming from the preservation of the supreme national interests of the Palestinian people and a commitment to the pure blood that has been shed and continues to be shed in Palestine and all arenas of resistance.

Hamas has won, the Palestinian resistance has won, and the fronts supporting the resistance have won through legendary steadfastness and heroic epics that history will record as a beacon and guidance for future generations.

Victory to the resistance fighters.

Freedom for the prisoners and detainees.

Glory and immortality to the righteous martyrs.

And it is a revolution until victory.

No Evacuation for Palestinian Collaborators, Zionist Regime Betrays Turncoats

Palestinian collaborator with the Zionist regime and Wall Street Journal columnist Yasser Abu Shabab and his “Popular Forces” will stay in Gaza following the ceasefire between the occupation and Hamas, according to a report by Zionist press on October 9th.

The Hebrew news outlet noted that Abu Shabab’s militia is deployed in areas that will not be evacuated by the occupation army in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, allowing the group to enjoy further Zionist protection, at least temporarily.

The “Popular Forces” established a base under Zionist guidance in the area east of the destroyed city of Rafah on the Gaza border with Egypt.

This area is far behind the “yellow line,” to which occupation troops must withdraw, according to the map detailing genocide collaborator, Donald Trump’s, ceasefire plan.

Abu Shabab’s men are also behind the “red line” of withdrawal, up to which an international force will allegedly be deployed. Areas occupied by the group in the destroyed cities of Beit Lahya and Beit Hanoun, and eastern Khan Yunis, are also behind the yellow line.

In early 2024, as the regime was imposing its starvation siege on Gaza, Zionist intelligence armed and funded Abu Shabab’s militia, tasking them with attacking and looting convoys carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza, including from the UN.

Zionist officials then blamed the attacks and chaos on Hamas, using the excuse to seize control of aid distribution in Gaza via the deadly Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

Abu Shabab was detained by Hamas in 2015 and sentenced to 25 years in prison on charges of drug trafficking and theft.

He escaped in October 2023 after Zionist airstrikes hit the prison where he was being held. Leaders of Abu Shabab’s Tarabin clan publicly disowned him and have called for his killing for collaborating with the regime.

Hossam al-Astal, the “Popular Forces” commander in eastern Khan Yunis, claimed the group would remain in Gaza, while Hamas would be forced to leave.

“The Hamas dogs will not be happy, we exist and they are (the ones) leaving,” Astal claimed.

On the other hand, a security source in the Ministry of Interior in Gaza told Quds Press on Thursday that members of Abu Shabab’s militia fear being prosecuted after the genocide ends.

The source said members of the group have recently begun communicating with several families and tribal leaders, in hopes of opening indirect channels with the Ministry of Interior to resolve their legal and tribal status and ensure they are not subject to prosecution.

The source explained that this communication took place in secrecy, via intermediaries from local and tribal leaders, who relayed messages between the police leadership in Gaza and the militia members who wished to settle their status.

A specific mechanism was agreed upon for them to surrender and stand trial, while ensuring the confidentiality of the proceedings, the source added.

Sources also revealed to Quds Press that Abu Shabab’s group had helped Israeli forces arrest Dr. Marwan al-Hams, the director general of field hospitals, from a medical facility in Rafah about two months ago.

The sources said that additional information regarding the militia’s crimes would be revealed “in the coming days.”

Two years after Al-Aqsa Flood, Palestinians Continue Their Fight for National Liberation and the Right to Exist — BAP

Today, October 7th, 2025, marks two years since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood changed the present and future of resistance not only in Palestine, but throughout the world. As we have stated previously, “the Black Alliance for Peace views the Al-Aqsa Flood as a legitimate resistance operation by the besieged Palestinians – the only party with an internationally recognized right of resistance. We support Palestinian resistance against the violent military domination by white supremacist imperialism and colonialism that began, first in the form of British colonialism, and continues in the form of zionism.” The Palestinian Resistance has given humanity the ideological clarity to understand in no uncertain terms the true nature of zionism and capitalist imperialism, and the so-called “Western civilization” that upholds them.

The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, as well as in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, has unmasked the “Western liberal order” for what it has always been, a structure of degradation, war, and genocide – based in the exploitation and domination of the masses of the world’s people. They have shown all of humanity that while resistance comes with a cost, within this global imperialist system, it is the only path to self-determination, human dignity, and collective liberation. The Palestinian people have paid an unconscionable cost for their resistance. The people of Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, and Syria have also found themselves further engulfed in the fire caused by zionist settler-colonialism and U.S.-led imperialism.

While some would draw sharp distinctions between the Biden and Trump administrations, the former’s full-throated support for the zionist genocide in Gaza reveals to us that the entire duopoly of political elites in the United States has been spearheading support for the state of Israel’s genocidal ambitions. The Trump administration has only accelerated and further unmasked these intentions. The Trump-Netanyahu “peace plan” for Palestine provides insight into how the ruling political and corporate elites plan to divide and dominate the globe in a more advanced, straightforwardly militaristic status quo.

In Gaza, this plan would mean that Palestinians are excluded from negotiations over their own territory, forced into a “bantustan” framework under foreign supervision, and stripped of meaningful statehood while international forces oversee their administration, a return to the colonial British model of control that precipitated the 77 years of Nakba and occupation. Haiti is now being subjected to a similar model: decisions imposed by external actors, foreign forces exercising operational command, and a people’s sovereignty denied under the pretext of “security.” In both cases, imperial powers insist on “peace” and “stability” while erasing the political agency of the oppressed. As we have seen with the genocide in Gaza and accelerating settler-occupation throughout Palestine, BAP understands that the logic of U.S.-led imperialism is destruction, dismemberment, and death for all oppressed peoples.

In the face of this outrightly colonial “peace plan”, Hamas’s response further solidifies the clarity and heroism of the Palestinian Resistance. Rather than capitulate, the Resistance agreed in principle to releasing the captives, an agreement they made as early as 2023 but which was sabotaged by the zionist entity. They also agreed only to a governing structure that would be in alignment with the principles of international law and the national interest of Palestine, while leaving further terms to be worked out in negotiations. Resistance, not concessions, is what has forced this plan forward.

Whether in Gaza, the Congo, Sudan, the Horn of Africa, the Sahel, or Haiti, the only “peace” that U.S.-led imperialism seeks is capitulation [or submission] to “full-spectrum dominance” and white supremacist, colonial control, which is the antithesis of self-determination for the colonized and oppressed masses of the world. This colonial control and false peace-making follows the consistent logic of domination and genocidal settler colonialism that Indigenous peoples of North America have been subjected to for over 500 years. This same colonial logic is playing out in cities across the U.S., as Black/African and Brown people and neighborhoods are occupied and terrorized by federal and local militarized “police” forces, and those who resist their brutalization and violation of human rights are punished with more brutalization. This logic is enforced through a militarization of our local environments and nations around the globe by the U.S. Department of War, which utilizes CENTCOM in Palestine and West Asia, AFRICOM on the continent, SOUTHCOM in Our Americas, INDOPACOM in the Pacific, and NORTHCOM (which oversees DHS/ICE and receives support from the National Guard) in the United States. These are not structures that can be reformed, they must be defeated.

As our dear sister, and now ancestor, Assata Shakur said, “Nobody in the world, nobody in history, has ever gotten their freedom by appealing to the moral sense of the people who were oppressing them.” While we are far from anything resembling true peace, repair, and freedom for Palestinians in Gaza, the oppressed peoples of the world understand much more clearly now that there is no hope in appealing to a liberal order that sustains itself on our dismemberment, degradation, and death. Resistance, and the development of self-determinative institutions based in popular power, must be our continued response to oppression, from Gaza to Los Angeles, from Haiti to Sudan, from Yemen to Chicago.

Long live the resistance!

No Compromise, No Retreat!

Hamas Announces Reaching an Agreement for Ceasefire in Gaza

During the early hours of October 9, the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas announced that an agreement had been reached that would lead to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to details declared by the group, its non-negotiables, which include the complete end of the war, the withdrawal of occupation forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange, have been realized.

Hamas expressed its appreciation to the mediators, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, for their efforts and contributions to achieving a ceasefire deal, and urged the United States to compel the regime to uphold its obligations as per the truce.

Hamas’ statement also issued a heart-warming salute to the Palestinian people, from Gaza to al-Quds and the West Bank, and those outside the homeland, expressing immense gratitude to their unparalleled pride, heroism, and honor.

“We salute our people who confronted the fascist occupation projects that targeted them and their national rights. The great sacrifices and steadfastness of our people have thwarted the Israeli occupation’s plans of subjugation and displacement,” the statement read.

Hamas lastly renewed its pledge to continue confronting the Israeli occupation, vowing “not to abandon our people’s national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.”

We will not abandon our prisoners

Zaher Jabarin, head of the Martyrs and Prisoners’ Office of the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas, said that the movement submitted a list of Palestinian prisoners to mediators. He explained that the list followed the criteria previously agreed upon at the early stages of negotiations.

“We are awaiting final agreement on the names, as we prepare to announce them to our people via the Prisoners’ Information Office,” Jabarin underlined.

The Hamas official renewed the movement’s pledge to free every last Palestinian political prisoner from captivity.

“Hamas renews its pledge to our brave prisoners and their families that they will remain at the heart of its priorities, and it will not rest until the last prisoner is freed,” he concluded.

‘A national achievement’

Following the announcement, senior Hamas official Izzat al-Rishq said the newly reached ceasefire agreement was a direct result of “the great sacrifices and legendary patience of our people, as well as the strength and steadfastness of the resistance.”

He emphasized that the agreement is rooted in Hamas’s “historic responsibility toward our great people” and reflects a firm commitment to their legitimate rights, and is a culmination of the resistance’s achievements.

Al-Rishq added that the deal represents “a national achievement par excellence,” one that illustrates the unity of the Palestinian people and their alignment with resistance as the path to confront the Israeli occupation.

He noted that during all stages of the negotiations, their “hearts and eyes were with our people in Gaza,” affirming that the blood spilled and sacrifices made have bound them with “a pledge of loyalty and sacrifice.”

Concluding his remarks, al-Rishq stated that what the occupation failed to secure through “genocide and starvation over two full years, it could not attain through negotiations.”

Earlier, sources within the Palestinian Resistance had confirmed to Al Mayadeen that Hamas and the Palestinian Resistance factions had agreed to Trump’s proposal.

According to Palestinian Resistance affairs analyst Hani al-Dali, the ceasefire is expected to begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday.

Palestinian and Regional Resistance Factions Hail Al-Aqsa Flood on Second Anniversary of Operation

Hamas:

Al-Aqsa Flood… Two Years of Legendary Steadfastness and Confrontation

Today marks the second anniversary of the blessed Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, October 7th, the day of the glorious crossing, the day when the sons of Palestine, the sons of our valiant resistance, drew the first line on the path to the freedom of Palestine.

The second anniversary of the glorious crossing passes, and the battle is still ongoing, with its continuous repercussions casting political and military shadows over the region and the area, having constituted a major turning point in the political and military landscape of the region.

Two years, and the enemy continues its brutal war against our steadfast Palestinian people and its massacres against unarmed civilians, amidst shameful international silence and complicity, and unprecedented Arab abandonment.

Two years of pain, injustice, oppression, great suffering, and immense sacrifices, while the resistance’s eye looks toward the freedom of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine, all of Palestine.

Two years of popular steadfastness, rallying around the resistance, and the heroism of the sons and owners of the land, in the face of the land’s occupying strangers, the riff-raff.

Two years, and our people remain rooted in their land, adhering to their legitimate rights, in the face of plans for liquidation and forced displacement.

Two years, during which our people have offered a large constellation of their sons and leaders as martyrs on the path to freedom, led alongside the sons of our people by the leaders of the valiant resistance, foremost among them the martyred leaders: the great martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the great Flood, the martyr Yahya Sinwar, Saleh Al-Arouri, Mohammed Deif, and other great martyrs on the path to freedom.

Two years of legendary resilience and steadfastness by the valiant Palestinian resistance, in the face of the most severe settler-colonial occupation known to humanity.

Two years, and the banner of our people has not fallen; two years, and the fortresses have not been breached, nor have our positions been seized from us.

Two years, and our people wield their legitimate weapon in defense of their constants and national rights, in the face of zionist oppression and arrogance.

Two years, and beyond, steadfastness upon steadfastness. Two years, and our people are rooted in their land, rallying around their resistance, adhering to their national constants, and their right to self-determination, far from illegitimate guardianship projects, with their eye looking toward Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine, all of Palestine.

Two years, and we carry Gaza, and Palestine, all of Palestine, with its great people, their pain, their oppression, their suffering, and their hopes, in our minds and hearts, and above our heads, moving forward with it toward the precincts of Noble Jerusalem and the Blessed Al-Aqsa.

Tuesday: 15 Rabi’ Al-Akhir 1447 AH / Corresponding to: October 07, 2025

Palestinian Resistance Factions:

Two years since the most horrific war of genocide in history, committed by the zionazi enemy against our people amid the failure and silence of the hypocritical international community. Despite the pain, wounds, great sacrifices, the brutality of the massacres, and the unprecedented war throughout history, the criminal zionist enemy and its allies have failed to achieve their declared goals, most notably eliminating the resistance and forcibly recovering the zionist captives.

On the second anniversary of the immortal Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, we express our pride in the legendary epic written by our great people in the Gaza Strip. This steadfastness served as the rock upon which all the malicious plans and conspiracies of the zionist enemy were shattered.

The Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, which began on October 7th and is still ongoing, constituted a historical milestone in our resistance project. It was a natural response to the zionist schemes targeting our national cause and contributed to the collapse of all the lies and black propaganda marketed by the zionist entity and its criminal leaders. What happened in the United Nations hall during the speech of war criminal Netanyahu is clear evidence of this.

The option of resistance in all its forms will remain the only way to confront the usurping zionist enemy. No one has the right or is permitted to relinquish the weapon of the Palestinian people—this legitimate weapon guaranteed by all international laws and covenants—which Palestinian generations will inherit generation after generation until the liberation of their land and holy sites, and the achievement of freedom and their legitimate rights, regardless of the magnitude of the sacrifices and costs.

On this glorious anniversary, we call upon the Arab and Islamic masses to take the initiative and go out into the streets and squares in all capitals and cities in support of Palestine and the resistance, in solidarity with our people, and in rejection of the crimes of genocide and the holocaust committed by the zionist machine of oppression.

We extend greetings to all fronts of support in the great struggling Yemen, the resistance of Lebanon, the authenticity of Iraq, and the heroism and courage of Iran for their steadfast, principled, and epic stances. We also extend greetings to the souls of the great martyrs, foremost among them Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and Commanders Mohammad Bagheri, Hossein Salami, Gholam Ali Rashid, Mohammad Saeed Izadi, and all the martyrs who ascended in all arenas and fronts of confrontation, support, and assistance.

We pray for the souls of the leaders of the Flood and the planners of this great heroic epic, foremost among them the great leaders Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Mohammed Deif, and a long list of our people’s leaders and national symbols from all Palestinian resistance factions, whose heroism and biographies history will write in letters of light.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
A statement issued by the Resistance Committees in Palestine:

Two years have passed since the Zionist holocaust and extermination that our people are subjected to under unprecedented international silence and hypocrisy, during which the Zionist entity has proven itself to be a cancerous gland spreading death, destruction, and killing wherever it is found, and that it is an entity based on crimes and terrorism that embodies absolute evil and knows only blood and aggression, with no solution for humanity except its eradication.

On the second anniversary of the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood and the Great Crossing on October 7, we affirm that this battle represented a major turning point in the path of resistance and our Palestinian people, as it was a decisive station in the history of the conflict with the Zionist entity, striking at the arrogance of haughtiness, breaking its security, military, and political systems, and shattering the myth of the invincible Zionist army.

The Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood and the epic steadfastness of our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip represented a major turning point, as it restored the spirit of the great Egyptian crossing on October 6, 1973, and once again proved the ability of Arab fighters to break all forms of modern technological superiority and make sacrifices, rebuilding spirit, pride, and dignity among all nations.

The international isolation faced by the Zionist entity confirms that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood formed a revolution in global awareness, awakening the consciences of free people, and will have major strategic consequences in favor of the Palestinian cause after dismantling Zionist narratives and revealing the true face of the racist fascist Zionist entity and its leaders, which can no longer hide behind false claims.

The Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood has proven with conclusive evidence that the Zionist enemy is an enemy of all nations, and confronting it and countering its expansionist plans has become an urgent necessity and priority for all nations’ peoples and all free people around the world.

The direct American green light through political support, military aid, and diplomatic cover proves that America is responsible for every drop of blood shed, every child killed, every family buried under rubble. It also proves that America supports and encourages Zionism to continue committing atrocities without any deterrents.

We call for an immediate agreement on a comprehensive national strategy to confront all plots against our people’s cause. What our people face requires quickly closing ranks on differences to prioritize national interests. We must adopt a unified strategy to defend our nation’s existence.

We affirm that confrontation through resistance is crucial for countering Zionist crimes; therefore any talk about disarming Palestinians aims at legitimizing Zionism’s existence. No one should discuss disarming us because Palestine will only be liberated through resistance.

We salute with pride those who resist across Lebanon’s frontlines as well as Yemenis’, Iraqis’, Iranians’, these fronts draw new equations today shattering illusions held by Netanyahu’s terrorist regime confirming unity among nations holds power over Zionists’ ambitions.

It is upon us now more than ever before – we shall honor fallen heroes holding onto their legacy keeping up fight until final victory eradicating Israeli occupation forevermore.

Al-Quds Brigades – military media:

O masses of our patient and steadfast Palestinian people, today marks the second anniversary of the heroic Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, coinciding with the thirty-eighth annual anniversary of our blessed jihadist launch, which marked a pivotal stage in the history of the struggle against the Zionist enemy. In it, the Palestinian resistance wrote one of the greatest battles against Nazism and Zionist oppression of our people over decades. The enemy practiced all forms of killing, destruction, and displacement against our people everywhere in blessed Al-Quds, the occupied West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. It bombed, besieged, and starved, recording the worst massacre and tragedy throughout the ages, witnessed silently by the watching world.

Two years ago, the Palestinian resistance carried out a blessed operation against enemy army sites along the disappearing fence east of the Gaza Strip. Our heroic fighters wrote magnificent scenes of bravery, courage, and sacrifice, capturing a large number of soldier and commander prisoners. They engaged in direct clashes from zero point, during which our fighters killed hundreds of enemy soldiers and captured dozens. Our resistance presented convoys of its best fighters as martyrs, wounded, and prisoners.

Since that date, our resistance has continued to confront this criminal, murderous enemy, which declared a mad and deadly war of mass killing of tens of thousands of unarmed citizens in Gaza, mostly children, women, and elderly, but it found no way to undermine the determination of our steadfast, deeply rooted people holding on to their land and homeland.

For two years of fighting, the resistance has sought to stop this war and alleviate the suffering of our people, offering all necessary flexibility to conclude an agreement whose sole condition is to guarantee the cessation of war and lifting the siege on our people. However, Netanyahu’s government continued the war to achieve the goals of its extremist coalition.

Two years since the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, we continue to face the enemy army’s divisions, brigades, and battalions, which destroy homes, streets, and buildings in Gaza. We confront its forces and inflict losses in the longest battle with this enemy since the establishment of its temporary entity. We have presented hundreds of fighters and leaders as martyrs who were at the forefront of tens of thousands of our Palestinian people during two years of fierce fighting and unparalleled steadfastness with minimal resources on the path to Al-Quds and to liberation. This battle witnessed great steadfastness by our resistance, preventing the enemy from achieving its declared goals.

We, in the Al-Quds Brigades, on the second anniversary of the blessed Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, affirm the following:

1- Our people’s resistance, led by the Al-Quds Brigades and Al-Qassam Brigades, continues as long as the occupation exists, and will spare no effort in fighting it. We have prepared ourselves for a long attrition war that will not stop or retreat except with its demise.

2- The fate of the so-called “Gideon’s Chariots 2” operation, which carries out systematic destruction, mass killing, and psychological terrorism against our people, will only be more disappointment, defeat, and collapse.

3- We affirm that we and all Palestinian resistance factions will spare no effort to find a way to end this war and the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip, and we have sought to achieve this for many months.

4- We affirm that enemy prisoners will only see the light through an honorable exchange deal in which the Zionist entity commits to ending the war, and any other way will not bring them back.

5- We renew the affirmation that the resistance’s weapon is a weapon found to liberate the land and fight the enemy and will not be sheathed except by achieving these two goals.

6- We salute our blessed brigades in the occupied West Bank, which were an integral part of this battle. Salute to the Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, and Tubas brigades and all the resistors, and we call on them to escalate the confrontation and continue striking this enemy with all strength and capability.

7- We salute the souls of the Jordanian fedayeen and the heroes of the siege-breaking fleets and boats, and the free people of the world who support and advocate for our cause against American-Zionist arrogance and crime.

8- We salute our heroic prisoners in the Zionist torture and oppression prisons, hold their hands tightly, and know that the enemy’s policy is harsh against them, but we promise them that freedom is near and relief is inevitably coming.

9- We send a great salute to the brothers in arms and blood in Hezbollah, who have been an important and great support for us and have presented their best leaders and fighters in this blessed battle, foremost among them His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

10- We send a salute to our brothers in Yemen of dignity and pride, especially our brothers in the Ansar Allah movement, the true helpers and supporters who continue to strike the Zionist entity with rockets, drones, and explosive boats in support of Gaza and its people for two years.

11- We salute the brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran who were direct partners in this battle through three direct confrontations with the enemy, during which they presented a great group of martyr scholars and senior leaders. Among them, we remember the martyr of Palestine, Al-Hajj Ramadan, who was an integral part of all our preparations to confront this usurping entity.

Statement by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
On the Second Anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle – October 7
“They came, so no compromise… Glory to the people of resistance” The Popular Front: The October 7 operation is a resounding cry in the face of Zionist tyranny, returning the Palestinian cause to global awareness On the second anniversary of the October 7 operation, we recall a pivotal moment in the march of a people who have never known surrender or submission. Resistance on that day confirmed that it is the essence of Palestinian existence and its living spirit, and was a resounding cry in the face of injustice, tyranny, and occupation brutality, and a bold declaration to the world that the Palestinian people are alive, steadfast on their land and identity, and clinging to their right to freedom and dignity.

The October 7 operation formed a strategic turning point that changed the equations of conflict and returned the Palestinian cause to the heart of global awareness. It proved that free will can shake arrogant power systems no matter how technically superior they may be. It exposed the fragility of the Zionist entity in front of fighters with solid determination and faith in the justice of their cause.

The battle transcended its military dimension to confirm that resistance is a fixed approach and that peoples who cling to their rights are capable of breaking fear barriers and remaking history.

However, the Zionist response, directly supported by American imperialism and Western lobbies, was not just a military attack but a blatant embodiment of organized state terrorism as a colonial tool par excellence. In Gaza, humanity witnessed systematic extermination unseen for decades, not only in terms of brutality but also in terms of colonial mentality that justifies starvation as a weapon, siege as a tool for collective strangulation, and destruction of vital infrastructure as part of an organized extermination project. Hospitals, schools, universities, water sources, and electricity were not only targeted but homes were razed over their inhabitants’ heads. Basic life necessities were lost, hundreds of thousands were displaced repeatedly. All this reveals the true face of colonialism – “a system that sees Palestinian human life as an obstacle to dominance.”

The joining of Lebanese, Yemeni, Iranian, and Iraqi resistance forces to support Gaza reflects unity in destiny and depth in solidarity. This confirms Palestine is not alone against occupation. Lebanese and Yemeni resistance has proven its ability for continuous confrontation. Despite immense sacrifices, resistance proves it’s a path for unifying Arab peoples and restoring their dignity.

Unprecedented global mobilization against occupation has shown international pressure on US administration leaders can restore human moral compass towards Palestine.

Palestinian flags waving worldwide during massive marches symbolize great symbolic achievement giving back attention to an issue occupation tried erasing.

We at PFLP affirm:

1. We proudly salute our heroic martyrs especially leaders & fighters whose blood mixed confirming Gaza’s resilience & greet prisoners & wounded affirming sacrifices remain eternal source pride inspiration
2. October 7 marked crucial station continuing struggle since occupation began responding naturally ongoing crimes against Gaza West Bank Jerusalem
3. Under intensified war crimes particularly Gaza we prioritize reaching comprehensive immediate ceasefire lifting siege introducing aid rebuilding

4. The US administration bears responsibility for any attempts by the occupation to foil negotiations or continue the war of extermination, which necessitates Arab and international pressure and continued global mobilization to prevent any overturning of the agreement at any stage.
5. We reject foreign dictates and affirm that the administration of the Gaza Strip is an internal Palestinian affair, and an agreement was reached under Egyptian auspices on a temporary administrative committee of technocrats until a national unity government is formed to assume its responsibilities in the West Bank and Gaza, which requires an urgent national meeting to put the Palestinian house in order, rebuild institutions, and confront the enormous challenges facing the Palestinian cause.
6. We affirm our people’s right to legitimate resistance in all its forms, particularly armed resistance, and the need to escalate resistance in the West Bank to confront annexation schemes, settlement policies, Judaization, and attempts by the occupation to settle the conflict.
7. We call for a strong and central Arab and Islamic stance to consolidate a comprehensive ceasefire, utilizing all papers of Arab and Islamic strength, activating the role of masses and free people, and confronting all forms of normalization with the occupation.
8. We call for continued global mobilization to pressure the occupation and its supporters, hold war criminals accountable internationally, particularly Netanyahu, impose deterrent measures to end impunity, expand freedom flotillas and convoys towards Gaza to break the siege and expose the occupation’s crimes.

In conclusion, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms, on this immortal anniversary and in light of the ongoing Zionist war of extermination, that our people’s steadfastness and the legitimacy of their cause will remain firm and unwavering, that the blood of martyrs and heroes’ determination are our guiding light on the path towards return and freedom. Our free people’s voice will remain louder than all Zionist killing machines. We affirm that Palestine will return to its original inhabitants sooner or later from its river to its sea thanks to its sons’ resistance and sacrifices as well as solidarity from free people around the world.

Statement issued by Hezbollah on the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood:

On the second anniversary of the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood battle, the battle of sacrifice, liberation, will, and steadfastness, the battle confronting injustice, occupation, and defending the sanctities and dignity, Hezbollah renews its pledge that it stands with the resistant and steadfast people of Palestine, who have inscribed with their steadfastness and patience mixed with tragedies and pains the highest lessons of pride and dignity in the face of the most brutal Israeli criminal entity, managed by a brutal American administration, and before a submissive, shackled world that watches massacres, killings, and destruction without moving a muscle.

This sacred battle has revealed from its first moment the true face of the criminal Zionist entity, stripped of any human attribute, supported by the arrogant American tyrant, trampling on all laws, international resolutions, and humanitarian considerations, violating the sovereignty of states by attacking them and their peoples, deeply involved in committing massacres, genocide, and waging a war of starvation and displacement against the people of Gaza, openly revealing its expansionist and aggressive plans.

The security, stability, and future of the region depend on the unity of stance and word, cooperation among Arab and Islamic countries and their peoples, and the consolidation of ranks in support of the resistance and its choice, translating positions rejecting the Israeli aggression into actions that deter this enemy who understands only the language of strength and confrontation. This nation must realize that this entity is a dagger planted in its heart, a malignant cancerous tumor that must be excised before it spreads and leads wherever it settles to destruction and ruin.

We in Hezbollah and its Islamic resistance, following the path of the master of the nation’s martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him), his companion Al-Hashemi (may God be pleased with him), and the martyrs, continue to preserve the trust of the resistance and the blood of the martyrs. On this anniversary, we send a salute of reverence and respect to the righteous leader martyrs and all the martyrs who ascended on the path to Jerusalem, to the wounded and prisoners, and to all who stood, supported, and sacrificed for Jerusalem and Palestine.

Salute to the free and steadfast people of Palestine, rooted in their land, who faced the Zionist killing machine with bare chests. Salute to the hungry children of Gaza, the bereaved mothers, and the free hearts embracing hope for imminent relief.

Salute to the Palestinian resistance in all its factions, to the brave fighters who have been waging for two years the sacred defense battle for Jerusalem and the nation, confronting the fiercest tyrants on earth in an epic saga.

Salute to all who supported and aided Gaza and its people, to the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may his shadow last), and to its people, government, and security and military forces. To proud Yemen, its leadership and people, and its valiant military forces. To Iraq, with its resistance, religious authority, people, and government. We also salute the free peoples of the world who raised the voice of Palestine loudly and conveyed to the world the cries and pains of the children and women of Gaza.

This great historic occasion will remain immortal in history, about a people who revolted against the occupier who usurped their land, fought, sacrificed, and persevered, and by God’s permission will triumph, for they deserve victory, and Palestine will return whole to its people, despite all conspirators, normalizers, and deserters. This is a divine promise, and God does not break His promise.
