I've spent the last two weeks concentrating on leather work instead of book binding. I've occasionally remembered my wheat paste as I have come across it in the refrigerator but I haven't been reheating it to preserve it. This evening I needed some and, with trepidation, opened the bottle. It was fine. There was no mold. It worked well.
I believe the heating of it before sealing the container is like canning. It removes bacteria and preserves it. #conservative #BookBinding #WheatPaste
