If you ask someone from the UK for the name of an architect there’s a good chance they’ll say Christopher Wren. Best known for St. Paul’s Cathedral, and rebuilding after the 1666 Fire of London, designing over 50 churches.

Taken from London, ed. Charles Knight; Tufts has it in TEI XML but no download link i could find. Hah! I have the physical book to scan!

This black and white engraving appears to be based on the 1711 “Kit-cat” of “Kit-kat” portrait in oils of Sir Christopher Wren by Godfrey Kneller; these portraits show the upper half of the subject, including the hands. The name Kit-cat derives from the Kit-Cat Club of Richmond, London: the ceiling wasn’t high enough for full-length portraits, so Kneller invented half-height ones.

I don’t know quite how to put it, but she has the look of someone who just farted and it grinning knowingly at someone who smelled it nearby.

Aside: I didn’t even notice as first, but in the top corner it says “execute the standard number” followed by a lengthy string, and something about that concerns me.

My whole Cinderella costume was very rushed last year and i hated the wig with passion. So im giving it love and an upgrade by ventilating the hairline fitting to my own.

I'm using simple bridal tulle because this was a spontaneous decision and I don't have ventilating lace on me rn. I've used this kind of tulle often in the past, when there was no way to order lace.
