In Belen gibt es einige schöne Stellplätze. Für unsere Verhältnisse leider zu Laut. Wir haben uns entschieden nach Londres zu fahren und dort zu übernachten. Den coolen Platz am Friedhof haben wir gefunden. 😀

Mate am Morgen in Antofagasta de la Sierra. Unser kühle Nacht haben wir direkt neben dem Vulkanfeld verbracht. Trotz der Ruta 43 in der Nähe war es Still...Im See tummeln sich viele Wasservögel. Herrlich anzuschauen. 😀

After a beautiful day of riding (260 km) through curvy Romanian mountain roads and Hungarian asphalt-for-miles-straight-through-forest-then-a-90-degree-curve-then-more-through-forest I reached a beach on river Tisa (flowing in from Ukraine). It's a place I noticed on the map the other day and I knew then and there that I want to camp here.

I do not understand why people go #camping

To clarify a bit, I understand why you might go #wildCamping. I understand why you may go campsite camping if you’re hiking or on a cycle tour. I understand why scouts go camping. I get tents at festivals. I understand that pitches are cheaper than hotels.

But why would a family of four who send their two children to private schools (£70,000 pa) go campsite camping < 1 hours drive away from where they live for a long weekend ? 1/N

At Metheral Stone Circle, recently rediscovered last year by Alan Endacott. Most of the stones are hidden in the grass and peat of Taw Marsh, but the setting between Metheral Hill and Oke Tor, overlooked by Steeperton Tor is striking. I hadn't visited this valley before, so it was good to explore new ground.
