Back to #cats. Lioness parading in front of a line of #wildebeest. Those wildebeest are not stupid as is often assumed. They don't run away, when the distance is safe, for 2 reasons:
1) it's a waste of precious energy
2) it's always best to keep an eye on a predator. If the panic and run away, they don't know where the lioness goes and she might sneak into the bushes and circle round (although this one is probably too full)

@Tondoni CloudFlare didn't even try Mastodon. The way they marketed Wildebeest made it appear like they wanted to go into direct competition with Mastodon and a whole lot of other non-commercial Fediverse projects and siphon off private data of Fediverse users. They particularly went for people who wanted to run their own instances.

Of Mike's projects, only Roadhouse is missing because it never really took off. But the Red Matrix is there, Mistpark is there, Osada is there, Zap is there.

Calckey is still there. Wildebeest is there which was so questionable I've got my doubts it still exists.
