Neighbor is here carving a path in our yard. He's driving something significantly larger than a Bobcat.

Like, two times the size, maybe? Not construction-crew size, but big.

ETA: I am told it's a front-loader.

Brr a cold -12C start to the day. If the wind stays gentle I'll want to get out for a while regardless.

Hope the sun can break through a bit. This time of year is nasty for the dwindling vitamin D production. Need to get a good blast of sun in the face.

Went out to clear some snow off the vehicles and found a little snowman and heart on our mailbox. The neighbor's mailbox had them, too.

There's a kid down the street that does this when it snows, much to everyone's delight. The snowman mold must be new this year, last year they just had the heart.

Another 3 to 7 cm of snow predicted for this afternoon.

We didn't have autumn this year. Well, maybe a week or so. But then the leaves and temps dropped, and here we are. Snow and highs below freezing. Maybe we'll get the snow over with early in the season? Last year we had very little.

Icy snow-covered stairs to negotiate at 5 am in the pitch dark every morning and my uncovered, snow buried truck make me willing to break this lease and find a ground floor house with a garage - as I had first looked for :-/

This is what many days will be like in a Colorado winter. After getting burned by that trashes drug house I rented sight unseen, I was so relieved to find a "normal" apartment that I forgot my search criteria and am now paying the price

A man in a snow suit is using a small leaf blower to clear about 6" of snow off a gray car on a deeply snow covered street. The photo is taken from above thru a window with the blinds down but turned open. Snow is seen on the houses across the street and for blocks beyond.

Haha now I remember why I tried to insist on a house with a garage! I wish I had found one!

It's 12 degrees F and getting colder with 6 inches of #snow fallen overnight. I face a slick wooden outside staircase to navigate to get downstairs to dig out my pickup

And I have 2 snow shovels but they're both inside my vehicle!
