And then... Tank lost his temper.

(Yet to be written: the feces promptly impacts the rapidly rotating blades. I'm developing that scene in my head first, with much glee.)

Been working on this for over 6 months now. Just moved from drop down menus to overlays for mask selection.

This little simulator illustrates the utility of various mitigations to airborne respiratory viruses.

Screenshot of Godot, 2D view. Two illustrations of people are facing each other. Between them an air filter with toggle control, above them, a Near UVC light emitter with toggle control. Behind each are mask icon options: none, cloth, surgical, and N95/KN95. Each set of mask icons is labeled “Containment Mask” on the left and “Protection Mask” on the right. The person on the right has a sad/worried face. The bottom buttons are About, Reset (with a circular arrow) and Start. The person on the left is stacked with 40 viruses inside their body. Each person has a triangular overlay on their mouth, indicating an invisible game element. The filter has a large pink and purple shape indicating an effective radius.

Still editing Space Worms. Got sidetracked by Kickstarter fulfillment for a few days, and decided to add content to my series and book pages on my website (rolling eyes at myself). How about you?

#wipwednesday Some post-s2 ep 6 #staticdust I've been working on since the episode dropped (with a little #valangel seasoning because I can't help myself)

"You know, you *are* beautiful when you shut the fuck up," Vox remarked, swirling his drink. He took a sip. "Be nice to just keep you like this. Val probably wouldn't mind, you're just another set of holes for him at the end of the day."

Vox knew that couldn't be true, he'd spied on enough of their conversations to know they talked about more than just what scripts they were rehearsing together. He saw how it didn't always end in Val giving Angel a black eye. Sometimes they weren't even at the studio.

He took another sip of his drink.

"'Alone time,'" Vox mused to himself. "Even *I* don't know why I'd ever want to be left alone with you." Vox shrugged. "Wanted to admire the latest in my line of captive trophies, I guess."

He looked at Angel's face and laughed, splashing his drink on the carpet.

"*God* you look so fucking stupid right now!" Vox snorted, whiping a tear. "Did I *actually* say you looked beautiful? Yeah, that was a total lie. You look like some shit that was scraped off the heel of my shoe. Hell, you make the word 'whore' look fancy! You're *garbage*. And I can't wait until Val fucking *finally* throws you away."

His drink emptied, he slams his glass on the table.

I'm starting from the very beginning with my 80s-90s Disney TV character studies, going all the way back to The Wuzzles. If you've never watched it...eh. The Wuzzles came out around the time of Gummi Bears, the latter being the vastly superior show. At least the Wuzzles got a funny story in the DuckTales 2017 reboot.

Here's a breakdown of Moosel (moose/seal) talking. His antlers are all over the place in the original art, so I'm probably going to redesign them to be more like Tony Tony Chopper's antlers -- more dimensional and jutting out from his head perpendicular -- when I do the finished piece. #wipwednesday #fanart #disney #mastoart #wuzzles

#WIPWednesday • Less progress this week since I was able to bump up to a moderate routine and also decided to reconfigure all my routines. More journaling is getting done than anything else at the moment. #SciArt #embroidery

Lia’s fingers show a wooden embroidery hoop with black linen with a rectangle of dissolvable material on which is printed the Milky Way in black and white with some red and blue markings. Some tiny single strand seed stitch and French knots in white, peach, oranges, and dark browns and grays have been stitched. Below the Milky Way is black on black whipped backstitch that looks a bit like flames, it’s pubic hair. An hourglass-shaped needle minder that reads “this is taking forever” is attached to the cloth.

I'm delighted to have a (tiny) studio, but there isn't room for much more than a bit of watercolour to dabble with. I added a small hairdryer to my studio tool set, so I wouldn't have to wait to turn the page. Well: it would help if I also used a little less water!

For , I have finally completed another piece from the Lace Museum . It was a great day at the June solstice where they had 24 hours of lace class appetizers. Small projects to get your feet wet.

This was a piece of sun and moon. I decided to add beads to commemorate the recent aurora.

It was fun. I think I made progress, especially on the new-to-me Venetian picots. Ha!

I think I need to get better at thread choices too. But that will come with practice.

A small needle lace design of a sun on the left, a swirly blue serpentine section in the center to represent sky, and a moon on the lower right. The theme of the marathon was night and day.

The sun in yellow triangular sections has these picots out the top in sections. The first one is really wrong and looks goofy with 2 ears. The second one is mangled too. The third and center one is decent and I figured out what I was doing wrong. The fourth one looks ok and the last one looks legit.

They are labeled in pen above them: wrong; wrong again; oh, I see; got it! and a smiley face.

In the sky swirl I added some pink and green beads in a line that I claim represent the aurora and I labeled it as such.

The moon is in a white thread with pea stitch that came out better. I think it was a better thread choice. But it looks a little like moon craters with lots of holes.

Design by Joan Brash who taught that section.

Semaine 2 :
