Current wiring scheme: 1 volume, 1 tone with .022 µF cap. Coil tap is wired to the volume, voice 2 wired to the tone.

I've got 2 Fishman Modern Alnicos in here at the moment, to be swapped out with a Stephen Carpenter set once they arrive, as one of the Alnicos is defective.

This is a cool guitar but I've had nothing but issues with it in stock configuration. It's a good thing I'm a guitar tech, otherwise I'd have been a very unhappy customer.

My new test rack for #electrical stuff. The #wiring management combs behind the DIN rails and the strain relief plates at the bottom are 3d-printed. All designed in #FreeCAD and I will of course release the design files soon :)

A wall mounted rack with 3 DIN rails. On the rails various electrical devices are mounted. Left-to-right, to-to-bottom: ET200 PROFIBUS remote I/O, NDR-240-24 power supply, CBMC electronic circuit breaker, 3RH Siemens contactor, Ethernet Switch, terminal blocks.

Behind each DIN rail, a 3d-printed wire management comb is mounted. Various wires run between the devices.

At the very bottom, cable clamp rails strain-relieve the connected external cables using zip-ties.

Had fun today trying to connect to my NAS with various working converted Linux Mint systems here.

Fortunately, I remembered how *nix terminal commands work and was able to prove to myself that it actually was not there. 😂

Discovered the problem is that I have TWO LANs and it was on the wrong one… somehow.
Tomorrow’s job. Hard wire it into the correct (mesh!) network.

#wiring project on the #sailboat . The prior owner(s) had wires hanging willy-nilly; we've taken it all out and are in the process of placing PVC pipe to run the wire through so it isn't dangling all over the place.

Partner has been hard at work sanding and polishing the boat. I've chipped in a bit, but I've been busy doing parental stuff in the meantime. Plus, he has all this knowledge and experience I just don't have. My contribution generally amounts to "I'm helping", meaning I gopher, hold, and basic task my way through assisting the man with the master plan, and it's been a great adventure so far 😄 #sailing #maintenance #precisionsailboats #precision21

We had an emergency last night while cooking with our induction hob, when our battery box nearly caught fire as the interlink cables' connectors overheated and melted their insulation and burned into the tops of a couple of the batteries (not through to the inside though). I disconnected the batteries before the nasty smoke could turn to outright flames.

We finished our cooking on a camp fire.

We now have some new copper welding cable lugs on the 2AWG cables and power is back on.

We need some #Mutualaid to keep us out of overdraft trouble.

An electrical control cabinet with a gray metal door. On the door, there are several controls:

at the top, a red fault indicator light and a green operating light (which is illuminated). Below them, two buttons for exhaust ventilation—one red for "OFF" and one green for "ON." In the middle, there is a large emergency stop button with a red knob and a yellow background. At the bottom, a main switch with a red rotary handle and a yellow safety cover.

The control cabinet is mounted on a wall.

On the inner side of the door are the contacts for push buttons and signal lights, neatly wired and secured. Inside the cabinet, terminal blocks, motor protection switches, airflow monitors, zener barriers, and a 24V DC power supply are organized and connected on DIN rails with cleanly routed wiring.

A workbench with extraction through the perforated sheet. A motor is connected to the machine. There is also an emergency stop button and a control panel with an on/off switch, as well as an indicator light for release. All components are suitable for the explosion-proof area.

Greek electrical setups: a delicate balance between functionality and fire hazard. A true work of everyday engineering.
