I'm a huge fan of #phylliscurott and love that this tarot is about reconnecting to, not attaching, from the Earth. The illustrations by #daniellebarlow look gorgeous.

I have this lush little shady spot on the north side of my tiny Temple. Some people think some of these are nasty weeds but nothing really goes crazy on my rock pile. Except maybe common oregano. But this shady spot is divine. It makes me happy.

I make bio-regional incense from plant and resins that either grow at my place or in the surrounding area. I do sell some seasonally but mostly I use it myself in my little garden Temple. I am in the middle of putting together a Midsummer batch right now and the Still Room where I'm making it smells so wonderful. Dried roses and lilacs, pine, fir, spruce, Mahonia, Rowan berries, fir resin... I'm not even sure what all is in this batch. I chop the dried leaves and petals with a mesa luna then mix it all in the mortar and pestle. I use honey or mead to stick it together, then spread and dry it for a couple of weeks. It is so relaxing walking in there while it's drying. Burning it is lovely too.
