In book I, Aufteilen would deem the question insulting. Further, he has no reason to lie.

He’d also mention that allergies sre difficult to control. Dust and straw and the necessary filth from having horses make sneezing inevitable. The head effect would be truly awful. As well as absurd.

Yes of course it would be easier to spot a lying politician but look at yourself & how many lies you have told. Intelligent life depends on lies because without lies we wouldn't survive. Lying is the Quint Essence of intelligence. To lie successfully you need to measure your adversary correctly, to spot a lie you do so too.

Ugh, the legs I guess. Being a bit taller would be fine (I don’t actually lie much), and having a giant head would be horrible.

Mr Ross would likely find both too weird to consider. He fled to Mexico in the late 1840’s to escape slavery. When Zach Taylor took over Mexican lands, Mr Ross’ status became uncertain. He’d like to get away from slavery once and for all.
