These are figopuses.

A tabletop scene features six small, purple, octopus-like plush toys arranged on a wood-grain surface. Each toy has a rounded, teardrop-shaped head made of a dark purple felt and eight short, green tentacles extending from its base. The toys are positioned in a slightly scattered arrangement, with some overlapping. The background is a dark wood surface with a visible grain.

These two live on my office bookshelf. The one on the left is the mascot of a software project I did a few years back named “Greenlight”. The one on the right is a tomatopus.

They're all over the house.

A row of small, plush, octopus-shaped toys sits on a wooden table. There are eight octopuses in total, arranged horizontally. Three are orange with pale green leaves sprouting from their heads, two are red, and three are light purple. Each octopus has eight legs and two small black eyes.

Since 2010 or so Lorrie has been making these little felt octopuses. She's made about 3,000 of them and despite having sold and given away many there are still quite a few in our house, lurking about. Here's the most recent batch, fresh from the Felting Spa.

I think the three orange ones in the middle row are persimmonpuses.
