I’m watching Apples biggest updates from #wwdc25 webcast and can't help but thinking this liquid glass stuff is technically impressive but just too damn complicated with the hoops you need to jump thru with #SwiftUI

It's all well done I suppose but knowing the quality of recent documentation it's going to be very difficult to find the secret modifier you need.

Apple Design creating all sorts of rules so that our apps adhere to their standards of fit and finish (even throwing your icons in squircle jail in Tahoe) makes me feel like they have gone full-blown HOA.

Mac OS X Tiger was more like those cute/quaint towns with character and Tahoe is the result of gentrification and knocking all that down for McMansions/Cookie-cutter homes with HOAs.

Your app has to go through everything they want and fit their mold.

I think it’s a bug. In the “Get to know the new design system” #WWDC25 session, they align the text with the symbols and suggest to remove it when items are related/grouped.

А в конце ветки он даже пригласил всех заинтересованных откликнуться на вакансии Apple в сфере AI/ML или написать ему в DM для уточнения подробностей, чтобы присоединиться к его команде. Теперь приходят инсайды, что он покинет Apple – как всё изменилось всего за месяц!
