I'm wondering if anyone has already tested with 63D in an on a ?
recommends a minimum of 68D, but I don't think there's much difference between 63D and 68D.
Thank you for your feedback and advice.

I'm so annoyed at the situation. My is a phenomenal machine, but I simply cannot support the company after they bait-and-switched on us and locked down the firmware the way they did.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Oh Gott… es ist locker 20 Jahre her, dass ich mich mal mit Wärmeleitpaste beschäftigt habe. Aber mein X1 Carbon möchte mal neu abgeschmiert werden. #X1C

And suddenly I get this strange error message on my #BambuLab #X1C. Everything went well until just now... 🤔

Printing stopped because the printer was unable to parse the file. Please resend your print job.

Oh man, over three thousand hours of printing time leaves its marks on a printer like this. Even if it is a #BambuLab #X1C. What I urgently need to do:

1. Cleaning! Cleaning VERY thoroughly.
2. tighten the belts and adjust the pullies. Possibly even replace belts.
3. Replace the housing fan. The original one seems to have bearing damage and makes a hell of a noise!
3. Clean or replace the extruder.

PSA: if you are excited about 3d printing and thinking of diving in, go for the Bambulab X1C.
12 years ago I purchased my first 3d printer, the Makerbot Replicator 1 dual extruder. Aligning the 2 nozzles was near impossible. I upgraded the extruder with whosawhatits influential upgrade. I switched to using Sailfish open source firmware. I printed a rig to tram the print bed using a micrometer. I laser cut an enclosure to improve printing ABS. In spite of all these things the printer was unreliable and constantly a challenge. I had hundreds of ideas but spent most of the time trying to get a decent print. Eventually gave up on 3d printing. This past Dec, a decade later, I dove back in with the Bambu X1C. So much better, so much easier. I’m exploding with ideas, I’m printing things I conceived 12 years ago. It’s not perfect, but if you want to make things vs making a printer work, go for the x1c. #3dprinting #makerbot #bambulab #x1c

#bambulabs #x1c #3DPrint The Bambu X1C's ability to load a different filament after it runs out is the best I've seen. It's pretty much flawless. Had an overnight print, ran out of the same color and didn't care. Loaded the filament and it picked up right where it left off and just "worked"

This is a real perfect first layer (on my Bambu Lab X1C, except the right back corner. Here you can see a... wavy surface structure, and I don't know what the reason could be.

Do you have any ideas?

Okay Peeps… I'm bored. Should I jailbrake my #X1C and install #X1Plus? 🤔

2025-01-24

Bummer! It seems that #BigTreeTech is currently working on a replacement board for #BambuLab #X1C printers (running Klipper), to fix that dreadful firmware desaster. 😳

2025-01-21

That's really interesting. At the moment two printers are doing their job. Since the #X1C does higher temperatures than the #P1S, the X1C needs less power than the P1S.

Wow! 3 specific parts of my #NeXT #MegaPixel display take almost 18 hours to print on the #BambuLab #X1C. On a resin printer (Saturn 4 Ultra), #Chitubox tells me it takes 3:43h. And that's with significantly better print quality.

Wow! 😳

I did not realize using a 0.2 nozzle would increase printing time by so much. I'm running a #Benchy print and it's going to take 2 hours :bear_facepalm: :emo_skull:

Timelapse video of an overnight full plate 3D print. I don't often do full build plate prints like this so it was fun to see and I'm glad it was successful after a 21-hour print time! This timelapse makes it look like the print head doesn't move much and the prints just magically appear from thin air... The print is components for a filament spool winder. #3dprint #timelapse #video #BambuLab #X1C

Is there anyone here who has both a #BambuLab #X1C AND a #P1S?

I have noticed that the housings differ slightly in width and depth, where they should be the same size. Specifically, it concerns the recess at the top where the glass plate is inserted. The internal dimensions of my P1S are about 1.5 mm larger than those of the X1C.

Can anyone confirm this?

Please share, thank you. 🙏🏻
