I came across an old FBY (aka Fabio Barzagli) xm module that gave me the shivers, I think the last time I heard it was 20 years ago, and now here it is again, beautiful as the first time.

Does anyone know how to soft reset the Sirius (XM) radio in a 2009 Kia Optima?

Sirius XM has pushed me through 4 levels of troubleshooting, and the ultimate level just now kept insisting that my car stereo had features on it, that it does not have, all while admitting that they were looking at a diagram of a car dashboard, at best two years apart from mine.

My Sirius XM radio screen remains on a "Loading SIRIUS" screen. And it does not change, does not allow me to tune to any channel, 1 148 or even 0.

There is no pinhole sized reset hole.

On top of this, none of the operators believed me when I said all of this.

Like, they are gaslighting me, or don't want to work to keep me as a customer.

Or both.

Okay, please help me out. In the early 2000s (I think) I was quite active with #demoscene #mod #s3m #xm and #tracking

Then came the dark ages where I lost all my media library, samples, own mods and my library of music. Then came the depression, the time where I forgot even the basics. So please be kind and gentle, as if I was new at this.

Could anybody get me on track again? Are there sample libraries? Which program do I use? Which (fast) tutorials are there?
