A yucca with variegated leaves that are green on the outside, yellow on the inside, all radiating outwards and sometimes upwards from the center of the plant. Just beginning to rise up from the back of the center is a pink bloomstalk looking something like a very pink sausage(???). There is leaf mulch, chicken wire, and a partial view of a stone water feature in the background.

Red #yucca #flower spike in the front #garden. This plant has reliably sprouted at least one new flower spike each #spring, and they last well into the summer. Been watching this one growing for a couple of weeks, centimeters per day, well over a meter tall now with buds just about to start opening, the flowers usually attract hummingbirds.

Reissen Sie dazu einfach die Blätter vom Stamm nach unten hin ab und entfernen Sie händisch die scharfen Kanten.
Die Mittelrippen sind sehr stabil und flexibel, lassen sich gut biegen.
Bei uns kamen sie zuletzt zum provisorischen Anbinden von Baumstützen zum Einsatz.
