𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗻𝗴): We see four Common Moorhen chicks clumsily waddling across a steep slope. They must be just a few days old, covered in fluffy black down, from which protrude disproportionately large legs for their size; also their red beaks and almost bald heads with bulging eyes. These chicks are funny and grotesque, but, at the same time, tender and cute. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Vemos cuatro polluelos de Gallineta Común caminando torpemente por una superficie muy inclinada. Deben tener pocos días, están cubiertos de un plumón negro muy esponjoso del que sobresalen unas patas desproporcionadamente grandes para su tamaño; también sus piquitos rojos y unas cabecitas casi calvas con ojos muy saltones. Estos polluelos son divertidos y grotescos, pero, al mismo tiempo, lindos y adorables.

It shows a pied avocet swimming, with its characteristic black and white coloration and long, dark, upward-curved beak. The waters are also white, due to the reflections of a clear cloudy sky and the high-key effect applied during the photographic processing. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Es una imagen en clave alta, por lo tanto, con dominio de blancos y algunos toques de negro. Se ve a una avoceta nadando, con su característica coloración blanquinegra y su largo y oscuro pico curvado hacia arriba. Las aguas son de color blanco, también, debido a los reflejos de un cielo nuboso claro y a la clave alta aplicada en el revelado fotográfico.

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗻𝗴): A female Northern Wheatear perched on the top of a espalier support used for tutoring vines. As we saw it in early April, we assume this intrepid little bird recently arrived from sub-Saharan Africa and is about to begin building her nest for laying eggs. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Una hembra de Collalba Gris posada en el extremo superior del tutor de una espaldera artificial para vides. Como estamos a principios del mes de abril, suponemos que este intrépido pajarito no hace mucho que ha llegado del África Subsahariana y se dispone a iniciar la construcción de su nido para la puesta.

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗻𝗴): A robin, seen in three-quarters against a reddish-brown background, rests on an old, moldy, and characteristic perch. The little bird raises its tail in a very characteristic yet charming pose. We don't see its chest, but we do see part of its face and throat, with their beautiful rust color, bordered by a band of gray feathers. The first picture is a cropped detail of the second photography. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Un petirrojo visto en tres cuartos contra un fondo castaño rojizo, descansa sobre un posadero viejo, mohoso y con carácter. 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗻𝗴): We see four Common Moorhen chicks clumsily waddling across a steep slope. They must be just a few days old, covered in fluffy black down, from which protrude disproportionately large legs for their size; also their red beaks and almost bald heads with bulging eyes. These chicks are funny and grotesque, but, at the same time, tender and cute. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Vemos cuatro polluelos de Gallineta Común caminando torpemente por una superficie muy inclinada. Deben tener pocos días, están cubiertos de un plumón negro muy esponjoso del que sobresalen unas patas desproporcionadamente grandes para su tamaño; también sus piquitos rojos y unas cabecitas casi calvas con ojos muy saltones. Estos polluelos son divertidos y grotescos, pero, al mismo tiempo, lindos y adorables.

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗻𝗴): It's a high-key image, dominated by whites and some hints of black. It shows a pied avocet swimming, with its characteristic black and white coloration and long, dark, upward-curved beak. The waters are also white, due to the reflections of a clear cloudy sky and the high-key effect applied during the photographic processing. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Es una imagen en clave alta, por lo tanto, con dominio de blancos y algunos toques de negro. Se ve a una avoceta nadando, con su característica coloración blanquinegra y su largo y oscuro pico curvado hacia arriba. Las aguas son de color blanco, también, debido a los reflejos de un cielo nuboso claro y a la clave alta aplicada en el revelado fotográfico.
