After chipmaker AMD bought ATI in 2006, it continued to label its graphics products with the ATI brand, which had widespread recognition among gamers and video enthusiasts. But according to AMD, a recent survey conducted across the United States, United Kingdom, and China found that the AMD brand was stronger than ATI against graphics competitors.
