Can anybody familiar with @pixelfed or federation in general help me?

I have noticed on #pixelfed that there are posts in my feed that link back to their respective Mastodon accounts. I would like to create a new Mastodon account with my real identity that would then route all my photo posts back to pixelfed as a way to compartmentalize my social accounts. (Leave #instagram )

@empathicat hmm I think it comes down to whether or not you personally find it exploitative. Whether or not the viewer does is an entirely separate issue
