@5SpeedFun @theo My current labbing involves an IPv4-only legacy network for older applications. Newer applications are on an IPv6-only network with NAT64/DNS64 in play to access the legacy environment and IPv4 Internet space. The switch drops non-0x86DD frames on the IPv6-only networks, so IPv4 is completely out of the local picture.

@5SpeedFun @theo Business networks are my only real angle here. (And not even those with a mandate, but those looking to simplify their architecture.) I know that home/consumer IoT and gaming will undoubtedly be the last bastion of legacy IP for some time to come here. That said, my gaming is all native IPv6 right now so it's hit/miss.

I still have no idea why after 30 years marriage my wife still asks me if she'll be cold or hot in whatever she's wearing... our metabolisms are so different. I could go out in shorts and t-shirt and she'll still need an antarctic-grade puffer jacket... :)
