@DeltaWye Bambu's liquid glue really helps prints stick to the build plate and is easy to wash off with dishsoap and warm water afterwards. https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/liquid-glue-for-build-plate
@jay_peper Here in southern Arizona, we just leave the AMS open to keep the filament nice and dry. Currently outdoor humidity is at 10% and falling. 🙂
Attention all amateur radio operators interested in transmitting WSPR beacons using a Raspberry Pi: A new, very much improved, version of WsprryPi software has just been released by AA0NT. WsprryPi features a web GUI as well as command line control options. #wspr #amateurradio https://github.com/lbussy/WsprryPi
@WingedAssault The consensus seems to be it makes some people happy, but not others. 🙂
@augieray How about a noise canceling leaf blower? 🤔
@wokstation Bambu's Cool Plate Supertack has been a big disappointing for me too. On the other hand, I've had excellent results with their standard “Smooth PEI Plate” in my P1S for PLA and PETG. Be sure and use a glue on the Smooth PEI plate when printing PETG. Bambu's liquid glue works well, is easy to apply, and easy to remove using dish soap and water.
@M0CUV Be patient and don’t give up. After putting up a node, it didn’t hear any others for about a month. Suddenly someone else installed one up within range and mine and I was linked to the outside world. #Meshtastic
@joeisanerd Congratulations! Well deserved.
@nrcha Nice! Since the antenna is upside down, does your software invert the RF signal? 😂
@kbob That’s normal for Bambu Lab shipping. They generate a tracking number quickly but it usually takes another 2 or 3 days before the shipment leaves the warehouse.
@KuJoe To get started quickly and easily with #Meshtastic, buy a “Wismesh Pocket” node (link below) then follow the quick start guide (link below). Set it up in CLIENT mode, definitely not as a repeater.

Later on as you learn more, you can explore other complex node options to include assembling your own.
Have fun!

@koz @3dprinting Many printable options can be found on the usual design sharing websites such as thingiverse, printables, makerworld, etc. Search for “ptfe splitter” and “ptfe y-splitter” for a huge selection.
@w8tau @w8tau.bsky.social Do you mean something like this…

@copter_chief Next step: Try a TV free weekend. 🙂
@richardgunther Just use butter instead. 😂
@ely The solution is to get a secord Meshtastic node as a companion for the first so the two can talk to each other. 🙂 #Meshtastic
