Depends on what you fabric and thread you are using. For tight weave fabrics with embroidery floss or pearl cotton, I use chenille needles.

I have started appending "-ai" to all of my searches.

This is the favorite quote of the guy across from me in cube land. He has a poster of cousin Randy hanging in his cube.
Please, please tell me me that we have thousands if not millions of 'tips' to report to this website. I imagine we have so many concerns of media bias it might overwhelm the website and make it go off-line. That would be such a terrible shame.

I am also willing to help/consult. Do you have any creative reuse place or thrift shop nearby? Any 100% cotton that is at least no more tightly woven than good sheets can be used for a quilt. If you are interested in bed quilts you will want to stick with good quality cotton, no loosely woven stuff. But our foremothers used feed sacks and the Gees Bend Quilters used old shirts, pants and other domestic fabric for their pieces.
if you are looking for commercial fabric most quilt shops these days have websites. Two local to me ones that I like( and like their values) are https://www.austinsewing.com and https://www.beehivecraftstudio.com

Thank you. It will.
Today I say goodbye forever to my dearest Cookie. Her body is failing so fast. Her cancer has likely recurred, but what she is suffering from is pleural effusion. She is not eating much and has lost her glorious meow. So I have made the enormously difficult decision to euthanize her and let her cross the rainbow bridge without further suffering. I am going to miss this floof.
@tylerzonia
I loved this series! She has a follow book with a female protagonist I think you would like. "The Adventures of Amina AL Sirafi".
I made a little.box for a secret Santa exchange at my #ModernQuilt guild meet this Thursday for this first day in the #ArtAdventCalender. It is from the Bitsy Box pattern by Bodobo Bags. I used my hand- dyed fabric scraps and a random pink floral for the lining.

A controversy over data-gathering software secretly installed on Samsung phones erupted again after a new accusatory post appeared on X last week.

I have made them with worsted, I think. But they don't look near as snug as yours!
