Happy Solstice Earthlings! In our part of the world we are not dreaming but waking to a white snow covered Winter Solstice. It makes me happy.

The solstice occurred this morning at 4:21 am EST or 9:21 am GMT as the sun's light reached its Southern most latitude. For those in the Northern Hemisphere that have been whining the last couple months about early sunsets, the days will begin to get longer now.
