@ts-new architecturally, Xbox and regular Windows are pretty much the same; Windows only lacks the internal Xbox APIs (mostly those that don't go through Microsoft cloud) and Xbox's DRM, the latter is why Xbox games are separate, as they can't afford it getting reverse-engineered.

@Junicast the mac mini is very hard to beat, especially for compute or AI workloads. I'd say that the Linux PC is way more versatile if you may use it for stuff like gaming, coding, productivity, etc., but if the mac mini fits the bill and you don't mind macOS... There is very little to say.

Honestly, I'd ask them if they're fine with you remixing it (such consent is legally binding, but dubious in terms of licensed permissions); even though it wouldn't be a big deal if you remixed it without their consent, it's just rude and frowned upon in the community.

For me, unless something is very quick and easy, I use a laptop.

My wife will use her phone as much as she possibly can, only using her laptop in extremis.

@neil for me, it's a Surface Pro 11 (a 2-in-1 tablet), tho I haven't bought or plan to buy the outrageously expensive first-party keyboard. I'm planning to DIY my own w/ mechanical low-profile switches and an Alice ergo layout, it'll be glorious; in the meantime I use a Keychron V10.
