I think the biggest hurdle to Mastodon growing in popularity was and is knowing what instances to join and the fear of instances disappearing or admins going rogue, along with little things like handle changes basically requiring a whole new account

BUT

Bluesky’s admins refusing to ban a known transphobe just because he’s “famous” despite violating TOS multiple times would never happen here.

There’s only a handful of things that aren’t on Apple Music that are on Spotify, but I find everything generally sounds better and they pay out more per stream than Spotify ever did

@reaux TGA has some great announcements but it’s worth noting that the trailers are basically pissing contests with money. The biggest and best games of the year - Balatro and Astro Bot - came out of nowhere and did not receive even 1% of that marketing ;)
