There's a bug with voiceover that attaches a broken image description to random objects that are scrolled over when navigating. In my case, I've just hit that bug, and now everything on my phone apparently has an image description of something like "Mriumm". I'm oddly amused.

Seemingly an unpopular opinion: Programs should quit displaying update popups in the middle of people's workflow. Send me a notification, fine, but for fucks sake don't interrupt my workflow just to tell me there's an update to your godforsaken program. Bonus points if you can't turn off this absolutely cursed nonsense, (edit) and more bonus points if you can't actually install the update from that popup. This brought to you by me who has seen this twice tonight.

Wow. That's the first time in my musical journey that I've corrected a mistake, come across it some years later in the original, decided that the mistake actually sounds better, and gone back to correct the correction.

Wow. Warning to VO users on macOS: maybe don't install beta 1 of Tahoe. I'm on an M1 Mac Mini. Every time I type, VO crashes. Sometimes it comes back in a couple seconds, sometimes it takes over a minute. This happened consistently in Mona, Safari, and Spotlight. I'm using the Alex voice with character echo on and word echo off.

I was holding my breath for a new "clear app's cache" feature like Android has (and has had since the early days) in iOS 26, this will not be the time, so I think I can stop holding my breath for this one. Just freed up over 15 GB on my iPhone doing a fresh restore from my BackUp, after going back to 18, thanks to well over a year of cached data across all just 53 apps I have installed. That's right. If you don't periodically wipe your iPhone and restore it, you'll be floating around with probably over 10% of your storage in just cached crap that you yourself can't even clear in your settings. Infuriating as it is now as it was in years past.
