I’m seeing a number of people saying that Vance is the better debater, but I think that’s the wrong takeaway. It’s easy to debate when you don’t feel constrained by the facts or the moderator’s questions.

The entirety of the GOP debate strategy seems to be: lie through your teeth, goad your opponent into showing how much they know about the issues, and then scoffing and saying “get a load of THAT nerd!”😂

Vance seems to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what power the Vice President has. Or more likely, he understands it and just likes making shit up.

I love how it’s undocumented immigrants who are taking American jobs and not businesses who are exploiting desperate people to pay lower wages.

If you have to keep saying “this job isn’t for everyone”, perhaps what you should be saying is “this job shouldn’t be for anyone”.

@murdoc This reminds me of one time I was having bad seasonal allergies about 10 years ago and I went out to an Indian restaurant with my team and ordered Chicken Korma, which I love. But that time, it tasted like chicken in a curry made out of American cheese. It was one of the worst things I’ve put in my mouth.

But others tasted it and it tasted normal to them. So it was just my taste buds.

@VulcanTourist I’m a super-taster too. It feels like the world's worst superpower. But I wonder if the amount our moods affect our taste buds varies from person to person.
