That'll do it. Jojo Crim with a pick to finish it off. The #Hokies defense wins the spring game 50-21 using the Modified Stableford scoring system.
Individual stats are below. Brent Pry will be up shortly to talk to the media.
@paul ugh, no kidding. Not looking forward to the pushback from my wife on this upgrade.
On January 19, TechHub is moving back its server and operating entity to Canada 🇨🇦.
I think the reason is quite clear: net neutrality is already being pull back, Trump 🤡 is taking power on January 20, potentially having tech bros running the show 🤖. Just to name a few.
Canada 🇨🇦 is not perfect, but we have a strong democratic system ☑️ and a good Charter of rights and liberties, perfect for an open community that's respectful of everyone :QueerCat_Pride:.
For the end user this will have very limited impact, except maybe 1-2h of downtime on that day.
More details will be posted soon on the TechHub's hub page.
I'd say podcast tech "moves very slowly", but even that's generous — podcast tech hardly moves at all.
But that's a GOOD THING!
Most efforts to move podcast tech "forward" have failed due to insufficient adoption. But most would’ve meant more potential for platform lock-in and increased ad-tech and tracking possibilities, either by design or as unintended consequences.
Podcasts' technical simplicity is not a problem to be solved — it's a defense from platform vultures and ad-tech assholes.
is my favorite hobby fixing socks while using mastodon?

@nocturne1 @chockenberry @cabel to be fair to the owners, the wraps may be to keep the truck from rusting…
@jknlsn took KNWFFFM6XLRE. Thanks, looking forward to trying it.

THE GUNSLINGER: THE MAN IN BLACK (2005)
Oil on Canvas - 25" x 40"
"The Man in Black fled across the desert and the Gunslinger followed."
Ever since I read that first line of the first Dark Tower book by Stephen King, I was waiting for the opportunity to paint it. 1/2

The problem with Bartender is that you are giving Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions to an unknown entity.
With Accessibility APIs you can control the Mac (including other apps). With Screen Recording APIs you can see everything that's happening.
Both of those things require trust, and the new owners being silent about the matter does not gain that.
I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole until that communication happens.
@glennf I buy one ticket every 6-12 months. I figure that buys me the ability to daydream about winning the lottery. Can’t really do that if you never play. But any more would be just throwing money away.
@jscalzi still not good enough of an argument against. Broken clocks, etc.

Acrylic - 12" x 9"
Re-imagining the KA symbol that I created for THE DARK TOWER (Book 7). Inspiration came while listening to the original audio book of the THE GUNSLINGER, read by Stephen King himself. 1/2
@ComicBookProgressive that first sacrificers story arc was so good. I know Remender is not going to disappoint and I’m still pleasantly surprised anyway.
Down to over 90% funded with just $14,000 to the goal of my How Comics Were Made crowdfunding effort! Still some very delightful higher-tier rewards with unique and rare items, bookplates, and special “executive producer" like credits!

How Comics Were Made is a visual history of printing cartoons currently funding on Kickstarter, 76% to the goal with under 70 hours to hit it. @glennf exhaustively researched this 288-page full-color book for years, interviewing dozens of mainstream and alternative cartoonists, and I really hope it gets made. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/glennf/how-comics-were-made/
