Will the upcoming hurricane #Norma impact the Baja 1000 course and with that consequently also the race (as happen in the past like briefly 2019 as race officials have been forced to delay the start of the event because of inclement weather) and/or course alternations due to rain/flooding?
The race is still some time away (14th Nov.)
On the other hand wash-outs often need weeks to be repaired....
It happen several time in the past, 1976 comes to mind.

Norma rapidly strengthens to category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale. Additional strengthening is possible Thursday. At 06:00hr MDT the storm is about 690 km (430mi) SSE of Cabo San Lucas. Heavy rainfall and flooding expected across southern portions of BCS through the weekend.
A Hurricane Watch is in effect from Todos Santos to Los Barriles.
On the forecast track, Norma is forecast to approach the southern portion of Baja California on Saturday
