@timokytta Thank you Timo, I am a dope lol
My name is Angela, I'm a board game loving nonna and total geek. Love the games, community and humanity. For diversity and kindness. 🏳️🌈 🌏 🇦🇺
@timokytta Thank you Timo, I am a dope lol
@BeardedRogue @rf_seattle you know in the old days of Twitter, it was actually more like that. It was a lot of fun, you really got to know people on there. Now it's more like you said, more a brand proposition, which is sad. For the record Tony, I always enjoyed our interactions and they were more than that to me.
Friends, if you missed Dog Park, Birdwood Games are releasing it into retail on December 31, 2022. Huzzah!
@rf_seattle @gpage @BeardedRogue I was sad when Marina Sirtis left. She was very cool on there, with her views, with fans.
@rf_seattle @gpage @BeardedRogue I guess it depends really. Marina Sirtis had hundreds of thousands of followers and she left. Stephen Fry had over a million and he left. It's harder when you're a company I guess.
@timokytta I don't know what that means, but I appreciate it's positive lol
@gamesformusic I literally only just learned of 'Hive' thanks to this thread. They haven't really 'moved' though have they, if they're all still on Twitter lol
@OsirisSaline it is disappointing that a lot of people in board gaming yelled loudly about Elon's takeover, then just.. returned to normal. I guess that's just us humans.
@cardboard_kid certainly not judging. Just disappointed that a lot of people being angry and spouting that still tweet away. It's all so... human lol
I don't even know about Hive, it's so hard to keep up with!! I'm on Tribel as well... but I can't be bothered keeping up with everything tbh.
@smallerdemon LOL seems like it's pointless. All owners do that when they take over. I'm sooo disappointed by him :(
@vexillia nice article, sounds like you're good at tinkering with things like the automation. I have no idea Fediverse was another name for Mastadon until I read your post lol
@KaiMzelle honestly, I'm devastated. I used to actually look up to him.
@gpage @BeardedRogue nailed it. How terribly sad it is that some people are happy to loudly decry the platform and then stay as though nothing happened. It's all so.... disappointing.
I love the 'sabre rattling' thing. True.
@nickferris seems most people said they were outraged, then stayed. I do miss seeing certain peoples updates there.
@XoeAllred yeah seems a lot of people have done that, just adding another socmed account as opposed to leaving.
@LouisvilleDad it's a tough one, I had so many 'friends' on Twitter I miss seeing their updates, but I feel like going back now sort of negates my stance of hate speech.
@gamesformusic I left altogether, but after the initial kneejerk uproar it's like a lot of people who said they were disgusted are still there tweeting away. It's all so odd.
@BeardedRogue yeah I did that same, but it's hard when a lot of people (publishers included) said a big boo to the entire thing then stayed anyway.
Friends / Followers: How many of you are still on Twitter, juggling both here and there?
@EuroGamerGirl Maybe it will at some point? Though it does look more.. arcadey I guess.
