Book two of The Inheritance Trilogy. What is life for a fallen god punished for his betrayal?

I love NK Jemisin. I read the Broken Earth trilogy last year and I’m on book 3 of The Inheritance trilogy right now. This was her first trilogy and I can definitely see where her skills improved, but I still just love the writing and the world building that she creates. Complex characters and stories.

@Myrstitchcraft I don’t think so. I DNF’d the Outlaws of Sherwood because of a similar feeling, and I’ve never gone back to it. Maybe it’s “right time, wrong book” or “wrong book, right time (somehow?😂)

Oh I’ve loved Robin McKinley books forever! The Blue Sword is probably my favorite
