SecOps Director named Christopher Ward (he/him)
In one interpretation, my name means "Jovial Protector", and that suits me just fine.
Most of what I do is covered under FriendDAs, so bring beer if you want to talk shop. #Blueteam
Into stuff like: Home Theater, PC Gaming, TTRPGs, and giving away beer <stouts & porters mostly> at cons.
#BlueTeamCon, #Thotcon, #PancakesCon #Defcon #CircleCityCon (damn COVID).

@hryggrbyr @catsalad punk ya Betta back up else the whole crew will act up.
@hacks4pancakes $50 says someone in the administration is buying up lead as well.
@rooster lol. When I was in HS I was grounded for something and not allowed to play games. The family PC was in the living room, and my stepdad yelled at me with this screen up because he thought it was a game...
@wendynather @mattblaze @strlcat @grimalkina Damn, I had one of those but cracked it in a car door while wearing an oversize coat in the winter. Even had the fax modem for it too :(
#VibeCoding your MFA
Today I detected a spiderweb in my office doorway with my face. How's your Friday going?
Me, returning from two weeks of conferences, business trips, and visitors: I will never calorically recover from this.
@Viss Apple makes toys, not tools.
<ducks>
I like how we took something computers were masters at doing, and somehow fucked it up.
@BlueTeamCon 😭 First weekend of the month = most reserve component cyber people can't go.
@briandunaway Looks like you already had a Jenner. I think that's what you had to do if you didn't escape. Rent a Locust and shoot your way out of the stadium.
That was wild.
@briandunaway Great game. Did you steal a mech out of the arena?
@mkj Yeah, the disaster that is this HIPAA site can be seen without even looking under the hood.
Well, that's wild. I was setting up a new account on a government subcontractor website. Couldn't send a code via SMS so it just said Contact Support.
I called and they verified I couldn't log in until providing a contact number. Did that. Changed the initial password.
It accepted the new password, but I couldn't log in with it. Over the phone the rep asked if he could READ ME MY PASSWORD.
He started to read it to me and I assured him it was correct. He then said he was successful logging in as me.
I then read what I had back to him (16 characters). The website apparently silently truncated it to 15 characters without telling me.
What year is it?
Really? On this day?
When I happened to wear a SentinelOne polo?
It is fortunate for the public that polo coverage didn't falter.
@krypt3ia The only way this turns around is if small/mids outsourcing insist on on-shore delivery, to create service organization positions.
Good new everyone, my Kickstarter arrived today!
(From October 2018)
@skiles I was in a dinner conversation with someone who thought the Post Office should be profitable. We're in a very rural area, about a 3 hour drive from the postal hub in the region.
When I suggested the smart business move would be to cut off postal services to our area, they were mad.
Me: "Oh, you feel like this is a right of yours? It's almost like it should be a government service and not a business."
