@evacide I deleted the X app on my phone and there's no news on FB in Canada. Literally only heard of the situation because I was doing a live interview about cybersecurity (a local scam) and the segment airing just before me was an update on the attack. Which was kind of surreal for a moment.

Yours is the first post I see on Mastodon about the war. I really miss old school twitter in a moment like this.

@malwaretech they were so much fun in Rome. We briefly had them in my city but they were badly implemented - and so it didn't last a year. Designated park spaces and geofencing, picture proof of the safe deposit of the scooter - this would have solved most of the issues we had. We do have the Bixi bikes but I gotta say, sometimes, I'm wearing a skirt or I really don't want to be showing up somewhere sweaty... I would love for the e-scooters to come back.

Hi, #infosec ! A few weeks ago, I did an online training for a collective of women surviving domestic violence to help them secure their communications and various online accounts.
I had made an infographic with the key points of the training to send to the participants afterwards. Since then, I received a request for translating the doc and figured I could share it too on here.
