@sandsoftime5050 😱 😳 🤢 😩 😢
@sandsoftime5050 wait what?!?!?
@raineyday I never personally owned an encyclopedia, but our family had one, and I used the heck out of it, so a big old zero for me! Heck I *still* do some of these! (Typewriters, postcards, paper maps, checks) 😂
@Studio_Gal I keep meaning to watch that movie again because my overwhelming thought when I saw it was how much that character was exactly like my dad.
The clean air revolution has begun.
This is the first time the HVAC engineering organization ASHRAE has produced a ventilation standard aimed at infection control, which physicians are really, really bad at (no surprise: they have no training in fluid mechanics or HVAC). We rely on engineers to keep us safe from water-borne pathogens. We should rely on them to keep us safe from airborne pathogens as well.
The wonderful human, stepmom, and nervous system coach Heidi Fischbach is doing a free class to support stepmoms, check it out: http://tinyurl.com/stepmomNS
And please share freely to let as many stepmoms as possible know about this free resource. 😊
@GottaLaff. You are doing such a service for the world bringing this info here for us, thank you!
@GottaLaff thank you again for bringing all this information to us here!
@GottaLaff thank you once again!
@MacropodCare that sounds ridiculously hard and upsetting, sending wishes for ease and peace to you
@GottaLaff thank you for your service!
@DrPsyBuffy omg I am sorry that you had to go through that, too. 😞 What a terrible thing to do to innocent children. How twisted do you have to be to look at a 3- and 5-YO (or 6- and 4-YO) and blame them for your life? Like, wow. Yeah, we made it through! And when I was in my 20s I did ask my mom about it, and she said we were not the reason she left. I wish I had gotten her to tell me more than once to balance out the lifetime of brainwashing from my dad. But it was something!
@DrPsyBuffy ugh I am so sorry you had to go through that. Really not cool of your mom. I don’t know how old you were when your parents split, but dang, I was 6, and they just… did not handle it well. My dad always told us my mom left because she didn’t want kids. I mean, what does a 6YO brain do with that info? And I am 53 now and he *still* tells me the divorce was us kids’ fault. 😮 Well, he did before I quit talking to him! 🙃
@DrPsyBuffy ALL the condolences for you. That is so hard to see. The most horrible things I’ve ever read were letters from my dad to my mom after she left him in 1976. Yegawds, just absolutely stunningly cruel and awful. I put them back in the box of mom’s stuff I was going through after she died, and last I knew they’re in my brother’s attic. Radioactive. And we were always fed the story that they had a good divorce!! 😳
@Stavros Awesome thank you, I will check it out!
