Нам треба обирати патріотизм, не націоналізм
@haubles Thank you for the wonderful post.
I think this article needs to be translated into different languages.
And the website itself should have the ability to conveniently change the language for the long term. Plus, a dark theme is needed. I don't demand anything and thank everyone for their work. But please consider these wishes if possible. For example, I find it a little difficult to read text in a light theme.
I am very glad that you raised this topic and argued your point of view
@heyheymomo By the way, have you thought about designing wallpaper for the new browser tab? I think there's room for creativity here, and your drawings are very beautiful. Or is it too difficult because you have to take into account many things, such as the user's screen size?

@heyheymomo ❤️
@Tutanota The real problem is data transfer and the privacy of the transferred data. I think that technically it is possible to come up with a smart solution that does not necessarily disclose absolutely everything about the user, but only, for example, their name and that they are "over 18 years old."
@Tutanota The internet is part of life. Public social networks are public spaces
It is time for us to slowly put an end to information campaigns by autocracies such as Russia, which operate through anonymous accounts
You can force content from unverified users to be hidden by default or placed at the bottom.
It is also possible to require that people who choose not to verify their accounts are unable to view the content of unverified individuals.
I think something like that is quite balanced
@Tutanota I don't see any problem with people being public on public social networks. Everything you write publicly, you should be able to say to a police officer's face. It's simple.
Everything you write in private messages should have E2EE.
Anonymity, privacy, and security are different things
If your state persecutes people for criticism, then you have a problem with the state. You need to change the law, protect institutions from autocrats, populists, and radicals

@Mastodon Perhaps you could translate important articles into different languages?
@Mastodon There is a problem with verification.
The current system is suitable for those who have a recognizable website and that's it.
Fraudsters can verify the eloonmuskcom website for themselves, while people without a website (or whose website is not recognizable) cannot verify anything.
Mastodon should copy the system from Discord. I think there should be a way to verify accounts from other services (Spotify, YT, Steam/GOG, Instagram)
