Thank you!
Thank you!
I sometimes feel the same, @saper, but then remember that those people can just as easily contact or visit me, something that's taken me many years to get comfortable with as they always seem to expect me to call or visit them, something I don't do as much since I don't want to be in the place where they are, though I'd love to spend time with them elsewhere.
People who actually take the time to pay attention and connect, whether via physical visits, telephone or video calls, snail mail, email or IM chats will naturally know more about someone, & thus, know that person better, than lifetime friends & relatives who only see a person sporadically over the years at weddings or funerals.
Hmm... Have you thought to "Block" or "Mute" the bots?
Ah, that's too bad. I guess the bot builders have programmed their bots to ignore the tag.
I absolutely agree, which is why I thought it could be valuable to share the link, even while I am not involved in *anything* *whatsoever* that could possibly contribute to elevating a megalomaniac, or to support one in any way.
I am an eternal optimist.
Of course, the kind of underpants one's wearing affects the effect, as does the body they're on. Actually, there are so many factors on the scale of sexy to funny.
I'm pretty sure I don't want to read this myself because I don't want to devote any more of my precious time or energy to such a person, however, I believe others I know would find the piece interesting, so I've got a real conundrum regarding sharing your link.
Actually, sometimes a man in underpants is sexy.
Modern research seems to be saying that no one's really a good multi-tasker, though some people certainly appear to be.
You seem like a well balanced individual.
I believe you succeeded. 😉
How is deception and trickery more honest?
Are you prancing because you feel so free in only your underpants, or is prancing your normal mode of locomotion when you're home?
Our experiences in site visitations must be quite different, as I've been to many that didn't seem to use these behaviors.
Well, I hate to assume. You know what happens when one assumes...?
Which one are you?
I guess we're meant to, which is why one sees so many people immersed in their devices instead of paying attention to the people and things in their immediate surroundings.
As I have been for several decades now. I'm still a big fan of the method. :)
@bob
You mean it's not because it's an easy, convenient way to quickly communicate with others, no matter where they are?
Dark Patterns are being used more and more online. Here's a list of them: https://darkpatterns.org/types-of-dark-pattern
