Actually perfect timing to find this out, I can add Vaporeon to the water team I'm currently levelling up for the Fire crew boss battle

Thank you to @Feufochmar's tip that you have to use the stone not give the Pokémon the stone, I now have all the stone based eeveelutions (expect glaceon, that stone is collected in the wild)! #PokemonViolet :eevee:

@Feufochmar Huh ok, that's definitely not how I read the instructions, it's said if it evolves while holding the stone it'll evolve

It was when I tried to evolve magikarp (the leader of my water team I'm levelling up to face the Star Fire crew leader) that I realised the above issue and luckily I had autosave off so I was able to go back and redo the last 100 or so experience points and evolve her! :magikarp: :gyarados: #PokemonViolet

Never mind, it's the auto battle system causing the issues, only use it if you're not close to levelling up any of your team, you can't learn moves or evolve them! #PokemonViolet #PokemonScarlet

Well I now have the stones I need for evolving Flareon, Leafeon, Jolteon and Vaporeon, and my Eevee holding the fire stone has levelled from 20 to 21 without evolving, but the only guides I can find with solid numbers for evolving Eevee are the friendship levels to evolve Sylveon, Umbreon and Espeon, and just wishy washy "Eevee evolves into Flareon when holding a Firestone" but nothing on when!?

Haha well my one girl Eevee became too high in friendship to not evolve and she'd learnt a fairy type move so though she evolved at night, she didn't evolve into Umbreon, instead my first eeveelution is... Sylveon :sylveon:! #PokemonViolet

I have also now obtained my first two Eevees :eevee: The first was a boy, and the girl is now leading my team and will hopefully become Flareon :flareon:

Oh and my team now has an agender Pokémon, Gimmighoul!

Yay Sylveon is finally in Pokemon Go! :sylveon:​

I finally evolved the shiny Eevee I've had for years (using the name trick), and now have a flower crown Eevee as a buddy till I can evolve them too!

Meltan was first released in Pokemon Go on 16th November 2018, so I've managed to finally evolve one on the 2 year anniversary! After only completing the research to get one 2 months ago!

and now thanks to Pokemon Home and the mystery box I have evolved my meltan! :melmetal:​
