Hi you all, here’s an update on our staffing situation.
If you’ve kept up with us for the past year or so, you know we’ve been struggling with staffing. Furry Weekly’s core content are the segments that we have, and of course to have those segments, we need writers, but we’ve been having trouble having writers to fill each segment.
This is why our segment count has been so low for a while. This is also why we have to delay some issues, because we don’t want to put out an issue with most segments missing.
Furry Weekly is a completely volunteer-run project, so it makes sense that not everyone has time in their weeks to devote to something like this. Still, we want to once again put out a call for segment hosts and other roles we have.
We hope you will consider joining our team or sharing with any of your friends in the fandom! Working with Furry Weekly is mainly a good chance to get involved in the fandom and meet the cool people and creators that are in it!
Remember to keep the following things in mind:
• Furry Weekly is essentially a passion project. Everyone on the team is here because they want to help highlight the different aspects of the fandom and the folks in it! So please be aware that we don’t get paid. This is pretty much volunteer work.
• Some roles require more work than others, but generally speaking, you’ll probably need to set aside a few hours every week to contribute to the magazine.
• You can have multiple roles at Furry Weekly, as long as you are comfortable with them!

We also want to remind you that we have several ways for you to send us your work or suggest what we feature on Furry Weekly. You can email us at furryweeklysubmissions@gmail.com or fill out a form we made. We feature a lot of folks in the magazine and you, your friends, or your favorite creators could be one of them! You can read more about this by going to our website, https://furryweekly.com and clicking on the “Submit” tab.
We also want to continue asking for your feedback about Furry Weekly as a whole. What you like, what you don’t like, what you’d like to see, and anything else you may have to say about this project. Our goal is to make the magazine the best it can be as we try to highlight the fandom and its members! We have a reader survey linked in this thread as well, which we hope you’ll take a moment to fill out to let us know how we can make Furry Weekly better.
Thanks for reading this update! We hope to see you all around soon and we hope to welcome some of you into our team as well!
