I'm biased I know but I'm going to call it, the winner of the best @Gephi chart of #aoir24 could well be this one from @snurb, @flxvctr and team which examines link sharing behaviours surrounding Australian news sources on Facebook. Fascinating findings here, particularly interesting seeing @ABC at the centre of this map, my interpretation here is that it suggests ABC fulfilling its obligations under its charter as a key non-partisan news outlet. Interesting finding also for @theconversationau

Developed by the @ouestware team, this new version focuses on enhancing User Experience. We felt like we need to polish what we have before moving on more ambitious changes.

But the magic of the Gephi week happened, and we ended up testing adding the `Connected Closeness` metric designed by @jacomyma!

- data edition made much easier

I enjoyed reading @jeromedenis & David Pontille’s book about maintenance. Not a review, but ideas I took from it that helped me understand better what is going on with Gephi’s maintenance.

Ok, DH-ers, the new web-based Gephi Lite is actually quite cool! Especially if you think of teaching #NetworkAnalysis to students. It lacks some features of the old heavy-weight desktop Gephi, but it is SO much easier, faster and more intuitive! I've already shown Gephi Lite to my #DigitalHumanities students and they are much happier with it than with the desktop version. Kudos @ouestware
