Ça va nous coûter un pognon de dingue alors qu'il suffit de moins rémunérer les métiers de "l'ingénieur " pour que les mecs laissent la place aux femmes et de rémunérer dignement, à hauteur du service social rendu, les métiers du care et du ménage pour que les mecs viennent piquer ces jobs.
Grand plan "Filles et maths" pour faire rentrer les femmes dans les filières scientifiques, sans se préoccuper de l'accueil mysogine qu'elles y reçoivent et qui les épuise, pour s'y faire une place que les hommes ne veulent pas leur laisser.
Du coup, par souci d'égalité des chances, je propose un grand plan :
Garçons, soins et ménage
Pour que les garçons aient aussi toute "liberté de choisir" les métiers du soin et du ménage, pour ne pas "priver les hommes de débouchés vers des carrières rémunératrices" ni "freiner la capacité de l’État à former suffisamment [ ] pour répondre aux besoins de la Nation."

I am almost finished a book that deeply explores the negative impacts of modern technology on our environment and society. There is a particular focus on the huge environmental and social costs of mining, with extensive sections on Brazil, Ireland and Spain. It is a very hard hitting book.
It will initially published in English later this year, and then probably Italian. Any publishers out there interested in possibly translating it?

In an unfortunate turn of events, I got hit by another non-performance based layoff exactly a year after the last one. Looking for a new front end, full stack, or accessibility role ASAP. I've mostly done remote, but would be open to Seattle or Portland based roles.
I've got ~8 years of experience ranging from internal apps, dev tools, CMS/e-commerce sites, and accessibility audits. I'm a framework + language generalist too.
I'm looking forward to speaking at @LeedsPHP next week on the importance of readable code. I'll be using two literary classics to explore the differences between complex and simple code.
