The #JoyDoodle of the day is her cuddling up to me right after we brushed her and got all the tangles out of her beard. Because we want her to be pretty for all the #DogsOfMastodon
She’ll be getting a trim in three weeks, fortunately.

This is a handbike with the front wheel dismounted and attached to a home trainer.
I am planning to do a mountain ride this summer so I will need lots of training!

You’ve been without a #JoyDoodle for several days as her human caught a bug and spent a couple days with a fever. Fear not, I will resume contributing to the #DogsOfMastodon.
I dragged my butt out of bed for an exciting but long appointment in preparation for #HandbikeBattle.
Joy was very happy to see me come back home. Many tongue baths were had. 🐶
The #JoyDoodle of the day is us volunteering in #Schiedam to help the neighbourhood install small measures to conserve energy.
Joy joined late in the afternoon and many adventures were had to be shared with the #DogsOfMastodon. We enjoyed Public transport, a new neighbourhood and interesting smells from many cultures.

It also features partner, who has finally found use of my weight bench as an ideal Joy-petting-position. 🤣

Today is the day for the #nlpol Dutch General Elections.

Joy the #JoyDoodle: One week in #DogsOfMastodon
Today marked the first day neither of us could be with Joy. Mom helped pup-sit from my partner’s shift at 1pm through my arrival at 5pm.
Apparently Joy was a good girl, but hesitant to snuggle. After I sat on the couch and invited her up, the ice was broken and much cuteness ensued.
But I am gratified to report Joy seems rather eager to sit in my lap, leaning her full weight against my chest and head over my shoulder.

Partner did the walking this morning. Joy is making me feel slightly judged for still being in bed. 😅
Joy: Day 5. She’s gotten used to her new harness, but the sounds and smells outside are still a bit much.
Hopefully we’ll be able to teach her that the café down the street is also a safe place.

I spent yesterday working from home. Typing with one hand sucks and walking pup from the wheelchair is *interesting* but we bonded.
Pleased to report she was much calmer today as partner left for work. In fact she just fell asleep on me*.
*not on the bed. Promise.
Joy. Day 3. The pup is not allowed on the bed. *sigh*
She spent the day with partner yesterday. Today is my turn. Much sorrowful whining as he left for work just now.
