Well that was Uncanny…
..just had this very lucid dream... ..that I was behind the scenes of a Halloween *live* broadcast of Uncanny.. {the highly popular paranormal interest series} which was based at and "coming" from an unknown location, whilst Danny, Ciaran and Evelyn were *out on location*.. Tony Robinson.. {guest presenter}.. was speaking straight to camera about the case of "The White Bear...", when the whole episode "dropped off air" due to a "fault"...?

..of Derbyshire... I've decided to compile a haunted gazeteer of places I have visited in the Shire previously ..in search of paranormal activities.. it won't be concise as the county is wide.. I am reliant on public transport.. and not every place is happy to be painted with the haunted tar brush... but I have plenty of past visits to fall back on.. stay paranormally tuned...

But we are planning to do Salisbury this coming year.. an extra spirity place so I'm informed by my paranormal colleagues who had a very peculiar experience in a hotel there several years ago.. sadly we can't locate the exact establishment.. hotels do go bust and get swallowed up after all... but from the way they are selling it..

So I met this…
.. random quarry worker bloke.. in the sympathetically restored and freshly opened New Inn the other night... Quite an interesting fellow turned out.. claiming to be manager of the Great British Lorry Racing Team ..or whatever it's called.. anyway we got talking.. mainly because I was in a state of euphoria at being able to enter my long time favourite local hostelry again and he was acquainted with most of the new barmaid staff..

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met? Dr Jonathan Miller twice in a fortnight.. I Veered..
What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in? ...from janitorial roles to working as kitchen porter in the hospitality industry.. thinking.. "oh... I'll get myself a nice little pot washing job.." What a mistake that was.. I did last two years working in the one establishment though... twelve hours a day of constant slog in a busy toxic environment....

What food would you say is your specialty? ...I can construct a fairly good full English breakfast if I do say so myself... bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, tommyarta's on toast and mushrooms.. with a light dollop of HP brown sauce on the side.. it's all in the timing .. don't overcook the meat.. put the bread in the toaster just as you crack the egg into the pan...
