So I just finished #devilmaycry4 the game was awesome and really enjoyed my entire playthrough despite some bad things like Dante's back tracking or the final boss fight that to me felt a bit very bland. But aside from that one of the funniest things to me was that the developers literally said "DMC 3 Dante works so give him a new outfit and call him Nero and let's call it a day".

It's has been really cool seen the evolution of these games and the very distinct soul they game which I love

@leroy agree! Unless the game is a rouge-like or something that has replayability as part of the mechanics I would much prefer to have an amazing experience with everything the game has to offer on a single playthrough than to have some cool aspects in the first and some other hidden in new game + or something

@brakeoutgaming I agree, I think it just kills the magic when you go for a second playthrough in story heavy games. It feels kind of boring cause I already know where everything is going

@sudoaptgetlife I didn't meant that as in actually forcing myself to play, it's more the fact that everytime I say "you know it would be fun to go back to x game" and start playing I tend to get bored really quickly, if I ever get the drive to come back to them which happens with very few games. Also I agree with you on that last bit, it says a lot when you can come back and have just like in your first playthrough

@Shini92 100% on the NG+ part! I love souls games with my life but the NG+ feels so boring and uninteresting that I think I have never actually finished a second playthrough with the same character. Same thing with horizon zero dawn, I have played that game for god knows how many hours and still I have never touched the new game +

I got a question to the #gaming community. How do you feel about replayability? Cause for me even though it's always nice to have good replayability in a game i always struggle to play the game a second time and feel like I'm forcing myself to do it instead of actually enjoy it

Very recently I finished watching #castlevanianocturne on #netflix and despite there's some valid criticism to be made about the show is really really really good! And cannot wrap my mind around the fact that it has like a 40% on rotten tomates.

I haven't played the games so I can't talk about how good of an adaptation they are but judging it as just the show that thing is excellent and is on par with the first Castlevania show so if you liked the first one then don't doubt and watch it

Jeez I've been very inactive for the past couple of months but during that time I finally got to play uncharted the lost legacy and one of the things that stood out to me was the transitions between cutscenes and gameplay, which are not something God of war 2018 where they are completely seamless but they almost are for many cutscenes and I don't remember uncharted 4 being like that which made them stood out to me even more

@darkesword that is also really good, it gives at least to me gives me a sense of progression and that all the runs are part of the experience instead of them being mindless attempts to finally get to the end

I completed my first escape from the underworld In #hades and it has become one of my favorite games. The gameplay loop is simple yet so fun and addictive, I'm always looking forward to all dialogues and those little interactions of the gods when taking a blessing, and the story while not being a masterpiece is good enough to have me invested in the characters.

Overall an amazing game everyone should play, specially since there's different difficulty options to make it enjoyable to everyone.

@sudaksis yeah persona 5 and a couple more like guilty gear or the new hi-fi rush have their very distinct art design i really like and would love more developers to allow themselves to get out of the realisim and experiment more in that aspect and do something that sets them aside from the rest from the first promotional image, one or two realistic games is cool and all but it gets boring pretty quickly

With big animation studios gradually changing the standard for what animated movies should look like i wonder when that same thing will happen to the videogame industry. Like i wanna see a big AAA game who's artistic choices aren't hey look how real this textures look.

I know indie games have been delivering in that aspect wonderfully but could you imagine an assassin Creed in a modern setting with a noir and gloomy aesthetic almost comic like with bold lines and hard shades. I'd love that!

@DezPlayz it genuinely surprised be. I came to it not expecting much, just something like Blood of Zeus, not a bad show but also not particularly good but from the first chapter it caught me and hasn't let go!

I've been watching the #castlevania show on Netflix and I'm just at second season but God why people don't talk more about it. I have not played the games so i can't comment on how good of an adaptation it is but as a show is freaking amazing!.

The characters are so charismatic and charming and the animation is fire from start to finish.

I haven't been interesting in playing the games but i will probably do now. I'm curious as to how they might be and the story they tell compared to the show

So i started playing #Hades recently and have barely scratched the surface of the game but one thing that stood out to me and I'm loving is all the character interactions, like when you pick a blessing and later a different god will make a comment about that or how Megera says something different each time you fight her.

It's always simple comments and nothing game changing but that simple thing makes the dialogues more fun and I'm always looking forward to them

@OtomeKame yeah i completely understand nostalgia plays a big role in the high pedestal DMC3 is, i just don't share the opinion of DMC3 being like the best action game ever created or something. I personally i think of DMC3 as i do for dark souls 1, an exceptional game that rightfully became a reference in the gaming community but still have some obvious flaws.
