It's OK, I speak RF.

We are going live with @NileSecure now at #MFD12. You might want to tune in for this one! https://www.linkedin.com/video/live/urn:li:ugcPost:7265075049412411392/
UWRB and Wi-Fi coexistence without a separate mode and "the intent" to be without even a separate license. It will be selectable per radio. Likely coming to the APs you already own, too. #MFD12
@cisco providing a UWB overview. Allows for very detailed tracking of items. The idea is to use BLE or Wi-Fi to broadly locate the tracked item and use UWB when you get close for improved accuracy . #MFD12
A quick slide summarizing the MLO capabilities of some Wi-Fi 7 devices. If you want to know more about how that was captured, check out the Nick @Swiatecki talk referenced by the QR code. #MFD12
I love that the new Wi-Fi 7 @Cisco APs only have one boot mode that automatically determines if it's Meraki mode or WLC and you can move back and forth easily. There's also no more region locks. The same product ID works in every regulatory domain. #MFD12
UWB radios have been added to the @Cisco Wi-Fi 7 APs to improve location. Lots of radios in these new APs! #MFD12
Where we are with Wi-Fi 7. #MFD12
We're goin live with @cisco talking about Wi-Fi 7 APs, IoT, and who knows what else. I'm sure it's going to be interesting and you should join us live on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/video/live/urn:li:ugcPost:7265029760378966016/
Cisco has a giveaway running right now for security training, but even if you aren’t into security one of the prizes is a 1 year CiscoU subscription, good for all kinds of training. https://mkto.cisco.com/cybersecurity-giveaway-oct-2024.html
@erik So many awkward and risky maneuvers could have been avoided…
The setup.exe is a super slick installation tool that I just learned about and has nothing to do with software. I wish I had one of these years ago! Makes racking and setting up new network gear easier, especially if you are by yourself. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BB83GWPY/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_D9HP3H2ZZ0N5Z5WGCR81?linkCode=ml2&tag=mostlynets-20
Last call for #WLPC attendees to add themselves to the unofficial attendee list. I know it says Twitter, but Mastodon is fine. I’m going to turn off submissions because I’m getting too much spam. http://www.mostlynetworks.com/2024/01/unofficial-wlpc-twitter-attendee-list-phx2024-edition/
The FCC has approved most of the AFCs. 6GHz standard power is now a thing! Now we just have to wait for our radios to be enabled. #WIFI

Stuff like this is going to make 6GHz fun. The 4th gen iPad Pro 11" is FCC certified as 6CD (dual client supporting LPI and Standard Power). Except the US cellular version, which is a 6XD (LPI only) client. To keep the waters as muddy as possible, the global cellular model is 6CD. 6XD clients won’t even see the SSID. So you could have two iPads with 6GHz radios that appear to be the same at first glance but only one can connect to the Wi-Fi...
You may think 6GHz works like 5GHz, but with more channels. However, 6GHz is full of rules & clients that all change depending on different circumstances. It gets even more crazy once you start playing with Standard Power. We’re going to have a good time with this at #WLPC!
@PotatoFi The tinny little music is now running in my head.
I’m loving the clear labeling on this Ventev Atto Patch’s leads. Even listing the polarization. Also, this tri-band antenna is tiny! #MFD10
The VenGo Mobile Wi-Fi Carry-on Unit looks like a great unit for pop-up anything. My first thought is this might be great for organizations like ITDRC for disaster support. #MFD10 https://ventevinfra.com/product/vengotm-mobile-wi-fi-carry-on-unit/
